SG's reaction was atleast spontaneous, i think she lifted her hands in jubilation, RG in contrast was devoid of emotions just clapping, what did MMS do did he say he will walk extra mile by giving pakis walkover next time we meet ?

Gary Kirsten will quit as coach of India. It will be great if TI wins this both since Gary and Gawd's last WC for India.

TI: every bowler took 2 wkts today. Nehra was the standout. SL have no 'weak' bowler to target anymore. Ashwin if he plays is strong and Raina and Sehwag can be quite useful if needed.

a strong and united front.

special DEFCON ONE dhoti shivering procedures will be used on Saturday along with KALA JINN comsec overlays . please standby to tune your datalinks, tactical networks and IFF to the beacon signals sync transmitted from BR's secret hiveCenter beneath The Maidan Kolkata on MHZ 300.11

So for, all these jinx have worked.. please add your thoughts to this list:

* Staying away from watching or kirikat thread (for me).
* the whine symbol
* no shabing
* no haircut
* no undies :twisted: musharraf on pree ride to work.
* disco/dhoti/langoti shiber
*

-----

PS: statutory warning has been already issued that closing the thread is a bad idea till we win the WC! so add that to the list of anti-jinx stance.

On another note,very poor commentary for this match. I don't know who's batting for RS & SM. They just keep talking basic stuff. Surely,the broadcasters must be receiving feedback. Bring in Hussain & Atherton.

list of personal anti-jinx/jinx measures taken today:

- did not watch the match
- no smoking during India innings
- went to pakistan, came out and saw a wicket fall. went back to pakistan and sat there until butt threatened jihad
- no breakfast

during paki innings

- smoked 5 cig (my usual is 5/day), noticed that every time i was back from smoke, one paki was wajibull cutletted - so kept smoking until all were cutletted
- ate a nice upma combo at the only place in north america where you get Indian breakfast
- saw a wicket fall (no. 7), ordered 3 more upma combos to go
