you can buy a projector!
There are options available at the $200 price point also, so it is worth it if you want the big-screen experience once in a while (and not a stickler for the right kind of resolution 1080p 24FPS support etc.)

Guys, i have no source to see it even on a 780x1080 screen, so no point looking for projectors. Google chacha did not reveal any local sites (mandir, masjid, dhabaas) putting the stuff on the big screen for a private members only show.

I know the dhabaas have big screen TVs and show kirket, but it is at an odd hour and not regular business hours. Even then there was one which showed it the last two times. Will need to check them out as a last resort.

Can you tell me what is happening here? Is this a dubbed version (unlikely) or is it a Telugu Original?

Lot of us are not in globally warmed Bengaluru or where the desert winds blow to follow costume customs (or lack thereof) outside the confines of a climate controlled base camp. :( :( Please do report on practical solutions for cold weather.

Wearing lungi onlee is not a solution to get to the kirket restaurant at 4 am in the morning, not to mention that mupalla-saar will definitely id me and lose all cover.

Kid had a Intl costume day at school last week, and insisted on wearing a 'kodi' mundu with shirt mallu style and got on stage. Was teasing him later that he forgot to wear a long banian underneath his shirt, as the colorful spiderman chaddies were visible. He did not seem to care. I would not have dared that stunt even in Naarth Yindia for fear of ridicule. These days they are as fundoo and confident as they come.

Skills in untying and tying up the lungi/mundu in endless cycles is a general requirement. :) Saw that happening even on stage at a Kathakali performance here by the touring kalamandalam group. At least the gent in question had the chenda around his waist preventing any slippage beyond it becoming a H&D incident requiring reports to the FCC commissioner. ;) Still, it was amusing to see him do that endlessly and causing enough dhoti shivering from general sharam sharam.

Such wardrobe malfunctions are fast and sure-shot ways to instant stardom; my dhoti had come off in a school function (I was playing Swamy; we were enacting the part where Swamy has to face teacher Ebenezer's wrath for asking "How can God be non-vegetarian" ?)

I still remember for some weird reason even the boys used to wear lip-color for stage dramas in those days and we used to share a common lipstick with the girls.
