^^^Chakoji, no need for any change of perception. We are Indians and we don't have to change their perception and dont' need it by having certain names. It's stupidity at its best. I dont see any Arabs naming their ships with Indian names to change their perception in the world. And we don't see the Arabs as our enemies because they don't name their ships with Indian names. So let's leave this useless discussion on naming ships with religious views. And for psychology, There are many better ways. One can be instead of naming our aircraft carriers with Viraat, Vishaal kind of names, it can be INS Vikramaditya, INS Chola, INS Akbar (No religion here, but the name of kings of secular India). Anyway the Hind attack helicopters are called Akbar in India. So is that changed any perception of India among muslims? Now among the people of the Arab world, India is viewed with respect (Not talking about the ones with Pakiness. They will never change whatever you do).
And by they way if the second sub is Aridaman, then the third can be Aridahan (burning the enemies)

Edited later: Rather than INS Chola, the title seems even better like, it can be INS Raja Raja (King of kings) from Raja Raja Chola. So INS Vikramaditya, INS Raja Raja, INS Akbar etc will be very nice to see sailing in international waters.
