Touch and go usually happens on the angled deck.

To me this looks more like fish-eye lens induced distortion. The distortion is more pronounced around the edges while the aircraft which at the centre is mostly free of any distortion effects. Though I could be wrong, but the way the rivets on the deck on the bottom right corner curves it indicates fish eye distortion. Notice also the horizon also curves with the deck.

It is from the angled deck ... that distortion(angle) is from the use of a fisheye lens

I am sure Don can take a few mockeries, after all the mockeries more reflects your psych. Can you take a few pictures/news or the so called propganda? If yes, then let's move on.

LOL. Except for the mass of Indians in that picture, not one thing on that deck is Indian in origin.

I'm sure that difference completely escapes you, but we'll remind when it's war time.

50 yrs ago, Chinese indigenous fishing boats were using Chinese fishing nets to gather Chinese fish from the Yellow sea

Fast forward to 2012, Chinese pilots are unable to land Russian plane clones on a Soviet carrier having an American numbering system.

We don't care if Chinese weapons are used during war. I pity the men that use them.

At least it wasn't stolen. It is wong to steal. But then China is full of wongs

And in war, you guys will use a lot of wongs as cannon fodder as you did in 62.

Too many wongs dont make a right. 8)

^^^ha ha ha.. You guys are really funny.

The point nakul trying to illustrate is simple. May be let me try to explain it the communist party of china way.

The glorious PLAAN with rich experience operating Aircraft carriers since 2012. :rotfl:

The relatively inexperienced Indian Navy started operating Aircraft carriers since 1960s.
not one thing on that deck is Indian in origin
haha... Varyag is definitely chinese.
but we'll remind when it's war time
Your predictions are insignificant and irrelevant to topic at hand. Let me reiterate what others have said countless times, please maintain sanctity of the thread.

Don't forget decimal numerals too Mr Wong. I wonder if the Chinese use the decimal numerals in manuals otherwise it would be pretty cryptic for use.

The red orange yellow colors give a nice colorful zing too.

Okay I have a question,

does this thread serve any other purpose apart from the following:

1. give chicom drones free bandwidth for jpeg chicomgiri. because all I see is pictures of chicom hardware being posted without any real discussion on their purported capabilities, impact, numbers etc.

2. Threats by chicom drones against India.

3. Occasional Snake oil about the Chinese economy.

^^^I second the assertion.

None of the Chinese posters ever present analysis about weapon systems or their views on the same. The pics/topics are used more to show how 'great' the Chinese are and we then end up in a downward spiral. Chinese posters need to be advised on clear purpose of this thread...in case they already don't.

You want to know the quality of these products you just need to ask pakis whose relatives are in PAF/PN. They are desperate to get western equipment but are forced to go for these mediocre chinese ones. PN went around everywhere looking for subs before they realized they would have to settle for qing. The F-22 was another desperate buy when they realized US will not provide 5-6 OHP's and could't outbid chile for type-23's.

As per wiki,PLAAF have 5 KJ-2000, which is AWACS and much bigger and may be more complicated than Kj-200, a AEW&C.
It is quite interesting the they are able to develop difficult one but facing tough time in developing the relatively easy one.

why exactly have the pakis been fobbed off with the round dish thing while PLAAF is presumably going to use KJ200 as their std low end solution?
