Reason i posted this one is because they are whipping up Tamil sentiments( i am not denying some genuine grievances eg.Settling ex Sinhalee servicemen in Tamil areas as tweeted by Mr. B Raman) to damage JJ and Modi prospects. Pretty much the way they stirred Telelangana in 2004. B Raman just revealing ugly mind of C-system.

This lunatic wanted Priyanka Gandhi to be the next PM and MMS as president.

Some body was calling DMK pussies, right? If somebody thinks AIADMK is any better than DMK then all I can tell you is "heee heee". Striking alliance with either party is like picking up a garden-lizard and putting in you lungi and whining about it later (I loosely translated a tamil expression - akin to 'aa bael muje maar' ). JJ sometimes will appear to be soft towards Hindutva, so that will warm the hearts of Hindutva crowd. AIADMK and DMK both are filled with goons - top to bottom.

Sushupti wrote:But i wasn't complaining like why no SC/ST, BC etc. Brahmins have been the intellectual arm of Indian soceity so it's natural that they had heavy presence.
So if levels of education explains their presence, then why would one need to bring in their caste?
My point is would you call someone anti-B for opposing these people who have developed wasted interest in maintaining this political structure which they have inherited from brits or handed over by brits?.
Once again, why would you need to bring in their caste? See point mentioned above.

What kind of evidence would imply that Brahmins are more responsible than others? What is the representation of different castes in a sample of educated people? Let us assume that 50% are brahmins, 20% are Kayasthas, 10% are Rajputs and 20% are OBC/SC/STs. (I am making up these numbers). Now, if you can show that 80% commie leaders are brahmins, and only 5% are OBC/SC/STs, then we can say that OBCs/SC/STs are less vulnerable to commie propaganda, whereas brahmins are not. Do we have that kind of information?

Secondly, what about negative evidence about brahmin-commie association? Brahmins/Bhumihars of Ranvir Sena have fought Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) for decades in Gaya - Aurangabad region. Hundreds of people have been killed on both sides. May I assume that they are not big fans of each other? In fact, it is a no-brainer. As I mentioned yesterday, the interests of "upper" castes and commies do not align. Therefore, ceteris paribus, they are less likely to vote for (or work for) communist organizations.

And, why are we silent about the association of other castes with communists? In the 1990s, Laloo was seen with MCC leaders during election campaigns. Laloo also used to say "Bhura baal saaf karo" (wipe out upper castes). Once again, may I assume that "upper castes" were not big fans of Laloo-MCC axis? Extending this argument, which castes voted for Laloo (and by extension, MCC)? Why don't we hear about the responsibility of Yadavs and Paswans for the 15 year Laloo rule? Why shouldn't I assume that so-called lower castes have sympathy for the policies pushed by Laloo-MCC axis?

"What he said is very very true. They used to do that in that fashion also! However, for whatever reason, I never had any interest in that. I never got into the habit of showing the difference between you and I. Except God, there is no one to do anything for us. If we have fruit of fate (Praptam), it will happen otherwise it will not. That we can think somebody is ours is only an emotion. I learnt it the hard way in politics that no one is ours. That is why I always go according to my heart irrespective of what others think.

Modi knows this very well, but there are too many people in Sangha Parivar who don't understand this...

When Modi does not "work with them", they start complaining... to higher-ups. Higher-ups think that this is Modi's fault. But it is becoming clear that this is not his fault at all.

What RSS-man told me before elections in Guj... since then Modi is working on all the complaints.

1) He met with Keshubhai after election results. Did some ego massage.
2) He started to massage ego of other BJP CMs
3) RSS man said "he antagonizes minorities" and cant win National poll because if this, now he is speaking of special rail for Muslim pilgrims...

He is working on all areas...

RSS was wrong, while ego drove likes of Keshubhai to help COng... Modi OTOH have shown ability to set aside his ego and "work with others".

I am sure RSS knows this.

Sonia Gandhi pleads with Mulayam to give up demand for Beni's scalp
With SP staying firm on its stand for removal of Beni Prasad Verma from the government, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi today reached out to Mulayam Singh Yadav in Lok Sabha and asked him with folded hands to give up his demand for his resignation.

Samajwadi Party got support from unexpected quarters when Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj backed Yadav and said in the Lower House that Verma's charge against the SP chief of taking commissions was a breach of privilege.

She said the matter should be referred to the privileges committee.

Gandhi, who was present in the House and was watching the new bonhomie between SP, an outside supporter of the government, and BJP, walked upto Yadav's seat soon after Lok Sabha was adjourned around noon. Though she was not audible to reporters in the press gallery, Gandhi was seen talking to Yadav with folded hands.

During the conversation, Yadav complained about Verma to Gandhi, who requested him to give up his demand for the minister's resignation, according to SP sources.

BJP members, as well as senior ministers of the UPA government, were taken aback at this. Soon after Gandhi left, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh (SP) came over to Swaraj and L K Advani to inform them about the development and said they were still firm on their stand, the sources said.

Yadav too walked upto the BJP benches and reiterated his stand.
The CON lady knows when to catch the legs and when to catch the hair especially knows how to CON stupid Indians.

R Jagannathan
Lameduck UPA’s survival instincts have just got better

I know Jaggubhai is dienasty hater and patriotic guy.

The sharpness and strong feelings... Man! He is Arun Shourie in the making...
It is the wrong question to ask: survival is easy if you are willing to compromise and sell the country’s long-term interests down the river. What is not easy is to survive with some principles intact.
OUCH! That's calling out with no mercy.
Contrary to assumptions, the UPA has not become a lameduck because the DMK is pulling out. It has been a lameduck since the second year of its second term in 2010. Since then it has been thrashing about for political purchase, but has never been able to find it.

With hindsight the reasons are clear: as scams started erupting like pimples on a teenager’s face, :rotfl: the Congress had been frightened into inaction. As the image of the alliance took a beating and governance collapsed, the allies took fright and started distancing themselves from the Congress. This is the real reason why Trinamool Congress and now DMK are deserting the sinking UPA ship. FDI in retail and the plight of Sri Lankan Tamils are just the excuses they needed to make their exit seem principled. Earlier, the Muslim party, MIM, left the UPA for brighter communal vote harvesting prospects.
Both, Mayawati and Mulayam Singh, presume they are insulated from the Congress’ taint since they are outside supporters of the UPA and claim to back it only for the principled reason of keeping the ‘communal’ BJP out. Either they think the electorate comprises only fools or they are deluding themselves about this. But as long as they think the electorate will buy this, they have no reason to ditch the UPA.
Infact Maya and Mullah may be right. As long as they can use caste/communal tactics to fool the electorate, how can we argue that the electorate are fools?
As long as the Congress thinks it cannot win the next election, it will stay in power longer than necessary, if needed by compromising with the devil himself (or herself? ). :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

WOW! That got to be the most vicious attack on the MAFIA Queen....
Second, cabinet clearance for the fiscally ruinous food security bill is a signal that from now on, the Congress will bring only ideas that no one can reject for seeming anti-poor. Muslim quotas will be next. The only tricky issue is reservations in promotions for SC/STs, which Maya wants and Mulayam doesn’t; but is it inconceivable that if Mulayam gets what he wants, he will oppose some of what Maya wants? It is not beyond the realm of possibility that Congress can work out some kind of safeguards that will also mollify Mulayam Singh.
selling the country down is the CON Queen's first priority. BJP if they have any shame go full war of Mulyam and Maya in UP starting now. Demonstrations, bandhs and go on roads.
Fourth, the Congress is introducing poison pill legislation that no political party can oppose, but which will create problems for the next government. Apart from Food Security, there is the Land Acquisition Bill and the Homestead Bills, both of which have the potential to cripple the finances of the next government, not to speak douse the willingness of businessmen to invest. But these are bills no political party will oppose.
This is CON ITALIAN's plan on how to destroy Modi if he gets into power. Take them back? We will declare a war!
All these are signals of a weak government planning to do further damage in the interests of staying in power. They show that the Congress is not confident of winning the next time, but is buying time in the hope that it will be saved by an unexpected good development.

The moral of the story is this: Lameducks have a higher ability to survive than we think. It is strength that allies fear, not weakness. Strong leaders can’t be bullied, but weak ones can. Moreover, when a strong ally leaves, the remaining allies grow stronger, as they can drive harder bargains. The TMC exit made Mayawati and Mulayam stronger; the same will happen as DMK leaves.

termite queen and her party can wreck the economy if they cannot win elections. so who ever comes to power will have a tough time to get it back on the rails.

presstitutes will be in overdrive during this phase -- making it look like the new power centre is no good.
Next elections with economy back in shape but not fully a tiger, will make congis come back to power.

reminds me of NDA followed by UPA 1.

something is going on in the background.

NaMo seems to be the flavor all over the globe wrt to India and its related news for whatever reasons.

Even seemingly anti NaMo brigade is giving him/his supporters platform to air their views.

People have become more vociferous in pro or anti NaMo views.

More in particular is anti NaMo brigade has some dichotomy. some are blatantly anti no matter what.
However some have softened their stand.

wonder is it due to congis being a sinking ship,
congis do not have capable people
congis are anti national or at the least anti people
are aware of the congis deception etc.

or it is practicing taqqiya on NaMo and its supporters.

have to watch the interesting developments.

Hope whatever happens NaMo continues with his development agenda and wins elections.

Globally the world right now needs India to be economically strong. Under UPA its doubtful.

Hence the Anglo-Saxon/Euro support for NaMo. US is not yet decided for they have their hands linked to INC. Blake already said their stance is based oN Indian political system.

In India people are tired of corruption and false prophets like AH and AJK.

Business people need decisions not indecision together with hafta.

So there is convergence from many actors.

Dienasty minions are worried about their relevance if INC goes.

krisna, Even though this article is written about the 2008 financial crisis it also explains the rise of NaMo due to the failure of the merchant masquerading as a sage in creating a balanced society in India.

if ever a non INC govt comes to power, it would be foolish to repeat the same mistakes of the NDA in letting things be.

look at TSP, the deposed govt usually has to flee into exile in riyadh or london...same way atleast 500 people need to be investigated for anti national crimes and kept here and another 500 to be in exile forfeiting their in-country assets (they have plenty abroad), their passports and citizenship revoked.
