Lot of anger against the Africans (Nigerians) in many localities. Reason, because of the criminal activities some Africans are involved in. Overstaying the visa is rampant, but people are not one bit bothered about that. The biggest blame goes to the police, for the deterioration of relation between the indian and african communities. People do complaint to police about the criminal activities, but police never takes the action. Police may be hand in hand with the criminals.

People have accepted the reality/fact that Africans will be here permanently. Many of them have started there businesses and doing jobs, they are not here for temporary stay. And, there is nothing wrong in that.

People "DO BELIEVE" that its mostly "NIGERIANS", who are involved in criminal activities. They "DO NOT" paint all African nationals with the same brush.

Personally, We have given our property on rent in delhi to many foreigner's (both africans and Goras, mostly NGO types) in the past, and have never faced any problems. Always have had positive relations with them.
Talking about generalisations, most Dilli wallas (and most Indians) are a bunch of racist a$$holes themselves. North-eastern Indians and African are prostitutes and drug smugglers for them. Whites are "easy". UP Bihar wallhas are uncouth bhaiyas. South Indians are all Madrasis and so on. Based upon my interactions with native Dilli-NCR population, I'd rather not put much trust in to what delusions these people have for anyone.
To be more specific the punjabi (even more specific punjabi hindu) Dilli-NCR population, they think of the rest of india as some africa when all they do is grow fat eating the taxpayer money that flows in from the rest of India.

About 5-6 years back when moi was going out with a Dilli based punjabi girl, her whole thought process was as if Dilli was india and rest of india was like some place she would rather not even visit. I think this attitude is quiet prevalent among the NAC jholawalas and some of the new breed congress politicians.

This Daily Pioneer report is being quoted a lot:

http://www.dailypioneer.com/todays-news ... ement.html
A 25-year-old African national surrendered at a police station on Tuesday night and confessed to her involvement in sex racket along with her three friends in Delhi. However, she expressed desire to return to her country admitting that they were staying in India illegally. Acting on her statement, police raided Naam Colony in Mehrauli area on Wednesday night. Three women have been detained for questioning.

Police sources said that the African woman was scared so much after the raid by Somnath Bharti that she rather decided to surrender to police.
Is this how things are going to be dealt on from now on?

It will be great to see the Tridevis Maya, Mamta and Jaya drinking chai with the Queen Bee Sonia. That will be the fotu of the ages.

Jokes apart.,

1. Why would Maya enter into any arrangement with Congress? Congress is finished in UP and why would Maya lend further oxygen to CongI - to pump up Sapa? Maya would rather remain independent and gain the maximum possible seat to play a king maker post-poll.

2. Jaya and Mamta are both very astute CMs. They will support anybody in center who will support their state and both have anti-pathy towards Queen Bee. Further post-Jaya., AIADMK's votes are transferable to BJP and post Mamta., Mamta's to INC.

3. RJD is finished in Bihar. Bihar is looking to get out of the BiMaRU status (now it is only BARU., MP is out of BiMaRU) - the post mandal yadav politics is at its fag end. Too bad, NiKu could have been the Raja of Bihar, but he created much bad blood and is a lost cause. Point is INC+RJD will not yield much.

The goal for BJP is to increase its seat share in UP+Bihar. They should go for atleast 2/3rds put together. Let CongIs worry about Jod/Tod - from my reading of the numbers., the Jod-tod era is going to not be a factor as long as the general elections are presidential (NaMo over BJP, NaMo vs RaGa, NaMo vs Kejri).

BJP should up the ante and say that Delhi's problem is not the nigerians but the bangladeshsis.

Why would she surrender if she is planning to return to her country? She can as well just leave.

Actually what I am surprised by is that the Delhi vote signifies the exact opposite. A vote for AAP is a vote against snob value of themselves, of their city and of the country....it will pull down the image of Delhi for sure.

These surveys are happening from August. Can anyone graph the steady increase. It's about 10-15 seats every month and steady rise. At some point the rate of rise will come down. To keep rise steady or boost the rate of rise Modi needs to unveil new vision paths in new bastions, Kerala, TN, North East, Orissa etc. Must fire it up. If he does so BJP might cross 300 plus else will stick around 250. Need NM for 10 years and a 300 plus figure means staying power for a decade and more.

Cong suspends MP state secy over comments on Digvijaya
Newly appointed Madhya Pradesh Congress President Arun Yadav today suspended State Secretary Jagdish Yadav for allegedly calling senior leader Digvijaya Singh "inauspicious" and stating that the party cannot be saved until he is out.

Jagdish is said to have made the controversial comment at the first meeting of the State Congress Working Committee here yesterday after Arun took over the reins.

Should also include default conditions explicitly : no guns and no assault rifles, no infiltrators, no love jihad, no mob rule, no law and order issues, and rest that led to riots in the first place. Once you give an inch, how is anyone going to stop law and order problem and riots later?

I thinks so. He has given an extension to Telangana discussion in Assembly by a week. If he extends it by another two weeks then there is no state formation in this term. He seems to look like not interested in helping the dynasty anymore.

Extension is only up to 30 Jan 2014. Thereafter , Pranab da will consent to the Bill for presentation in Parliament. Along with vote on account this bill will also be passed and enacted before announcement of General Election on 27/28th Feb ( most likely) .

Anyway , by all indications, notification will come into effect only after New Govt is formed. Govt will have to notify a date for the purpose and also announce division of assests and liabilities and transfer of Govt servants , the process could take about two years or so.

Congis are going to be wiped out in Seemandhra and may be some seats in Telangana unless TRS plays it right. If BJP can spoil it for Congis well and good. They are not gaining much in AP either way, notwithstanding NaMo speeches.

Though technically feasible, it will be uphill task form INC in this term. All this for what? 5 extra seats in Telangana which is also doubtful. It strongly think the game goes to next term.

Modi a Leader of Backward Class, Says Amit Shah
Attempting an image makeover, BJP general secretary and in-charge of UP Amit Shah projected Narendra Modi as a leader of backward class today and said construction of Ram temple was never an election issue.

"Construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya was not included in the election issue of the party," he said in Deoria.

Shah said construction of the temple was "aspiration" of the party and its workers, but they do not consider it to be an election issue.

Meanwhile in Ballia, while addressing party workers, he said that Modi belonged to backward caste and if he becomes prime minister of the country it would be a matter of pride for the section.

Azaan on loudspeaker should be banned. Let the mullahs use their lungs like they always did. Do they want to wake the faithful in the next district also? But hopefully the rest is not true.
