Always buy stocks based on Fundamentals, Kejriwal and RG are hardly people whom you can trust.

rrNdtv would be wrong by wide margin. In bihar , jdu is facing complete rout and rjd will get its beating from yadavas who are voting in large numbers for bjp but Misa may win.

Will add to few more points to my post made above.

* If there is any one person who is really really putting in for congress, then its siddaramaiah. There are chances that if congress does not do well, he may be replaced.
* For folks who can understand kannada pls follow samaya news (though not entirely neutral) for election coverage. This is the same channel which is doing opinion polls.
============
* There are indications floating in kannada media that curent kpcc chief parameshwar(a harijan) may be inducted in karnataka govt(might be DyCm also) and krishna byregowda may be made kpcc chief. This might attract okkaligas towards congress. It seems rahul is not that keen on the ahinda(BC-SC-Minority) politics of siddaramaiah and wants to pull one of the dominant communities towards congress. One more reason for this thinking is, atleast "on record" siddaramaiah had told that 2013 assembly election would be his last election. Anyways since veerashaivas are going back to bjp, this in turn will create both a push and pull factor for both congress and okkaligas. Rahul camp also wants to project the youth factor by projecting krishna byregowda. Anyway these are post poll scenarios.

Ramana Sir,

I am in the process of writing a document which pushes for run off election in India at a constituency level in seats where winner has less than 50% votes. I will add this fact about opposition getting 150 seats in the same document. But if other brfites have ideas, please pass on. IMHO, this is the only long term solution for India's woes. The westminister system has been mastered by congress and its proxies to host manchurians to divide votes, appease 15-20% communities and win elections.

After nuclear blasts, Goras gave NDA an ultimatum: We will impose sanctions unless you do the following:

1. Introduce EVMs with chip and software from us.
2. Allow foreign investment in Indian news media

The moment NDA agreed, Goras ensured it won't come to power again. As long as EVMs are there, there is no way Sonia Gandhi can be dislodged from power. Goras will see to it, Modi or no Modi. The only hope for BJP is when Americans think Modi rule is in their interest because he will improve the economy, helping US businesses make money.

Never before in history has a democracy been as subverted by Goras as India. They are stealing the popular mandate and putting their own proxies in power.
I think too much is being imagined & unnecessary fear created - in the above post.

I don't think the BJP core leaders are dumb enough that they would go ahead bravely & just out of nowhere shock the world by exploding 5 nuke test weapons & then immediately start shivering in their dhoties about resultant punishments from the West & show their backsides to painfully get whipped.

Any BJP/NDA leader who knew the above indicated [1] & [2] were being forced on to India by West (even if they were being done) - would not have needed to use his analytical capabilities for more than 5 minutes to sense & understand that these were possible weapons for getting educated India on to a west-controlled unstable orbit. The BJP already had calm, good minds like Shourie, (late) Pramod Mahajan, Modi at that time in their frontline and some more of deep thinkers in the academic scene (in the background). They would have soon come to the conclusion as to what the West was thinking for us to get into.

I remember that the SBI went around the world, did a more than 4 billion US $ "Resurgent India Bonds" mop-up from mostly NRIs and this was after the West imposed Sanctions on India for the Nuke blasts. The effect of the economic sanctions was small on the whole country. I don't think the Pokhran-2 left NDA or India feeling weak and vulnerable. In fact - NDA was voted into power strongly again in 1999 after they flunked the stability test by 1 vote in Lok Sabha.

I can understand their pain for I have experienced the same for the last 5 years at least seeing the path the country was put on by CON.

But you were not name calling or abusing your privilege of being media. Media is supposed to be neutral in a democracy to allow fair and balanced politcial discourse.
In India DD was Congress agent. When private media came they too became Congress agents as the media owneres were mainly business people and had no commitment to fairness in reporting.

Soe form of media reform in needed for future of democracy in India.

dhruvM wrote:Re EVM tampering dhoti shiver..

I agree with Nageshksji instead of SanjayC guru. It is certainly possible to tamper EVM vote counts (EVM magic was the only reason Chidambaram survived recount) BUT the logistics of it don't scale up. You need to physically access the machines (need bolis for this + the fact that party agents can and do monitor the storage rooms from time of polling till the counting day). This might be possible for a few booths per constituency but to imagine that it happened all over the country in 2004 & 2009, without any party complaining and no sting operations... is a long shot.

Wiki says this is a simple machine patented in 1980  and manufactured by desi BEL. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_voting_machines

FWIW all my family members in the government, all committed RSSwallahs, say this EVM magic theory is non-sense. We lost 2004 for the cadres were not enthused, and 2009 cause of lohpurush and his leadership or lack thereof. Occams razor
Too much crap going around here in this forum on EVMs.
Some basic details on the EVM.

- EVMs were designed in BEL.

- EVM was actually designed under the guidance of a very good Electronics engineer, a strong Indic & a Tamil named S.Rangarajan (More popularly known as SUJATHA , his pen name) . He is no more though. He is very popular all over Tamil Nadu. In the later stage of his life, he wrote some wonderful novels (replete with story points that now appear to have been all along illustrating Hindu philosophical ideas), scripted dialogues for some nice hit films and wrote well on sci-tech topics for popular Tamil Magazines. SUJATHA was also a classmate of former president APJ Abdul Kalam when doing his B.Sc Physics at Trichy.

- EVMs are manufactured in India by BEL & ECIL (defence electronics, consumer electronics & telecom related PSU companies).
