Finally, rare piece that compares the moth-eaten pawkis with a country other than India. Guess they have realized by now that they cannot compare themselves with India anymore without being thoroughly humiliated.
Also, not just in Britain, Bangladeshis probably have overtaken their tormentors on almost all aspects..
a few interesting comment from this article.

Earlier comparison used to be with
Indians, now Bangladeshis, slowly slowly it will become with some very lesser known countries unless Pakistan decides to wake up, shake itself against religious righteousness, superiority complex against all others, clinging to Kashmir while forgetting rest of Pakistan. It is easy to blame politicians, be the change what you want to be. Keep house in order, rather than try to control Afghan policy or Indian influence. Let others be what they want, make yourself good first.

As long as we have crazy mullahs dividing us, corrupt politicians stealing from us, and no law and order, we will fall behind.
Pakistan has great potential - forget about Mullahism for 5 years, rehab schools, follow driving rules and keep your streets clean - just doing that will be something

Armed with poor education and hardly any employable skills Pakistanis are leaving their country. It would be nice if Author did a study on the educational qualifications of taxi drivers in Toronto. I was horrified to see doctors, engineers and other professionals like accountants, computer enginers, lawyers doing taxi service in Toronto in 1999. They were all very happy with their accomplishments as they were all earning more than me who was training as a cardiologist. It was tax free income, you decide your hours and can have a satifing social circle. You are told an address and have to say Thank you at the end of the journey. Please update me about the state of our brothers. Same applies to taxi driving Pakistanis in Bradford. Our activites leave a 400 Million pounds hole in Bradfords economy. Unfortunatly 3rd generation taxi driving is not uncommon. They speak
pothohary and their standards are stuck in Mirpur and not in UK. They are eraning in pounds and spending in rupees. they do not want to mentally live in UK as the houses built in Mirpur would tell you.
