Seems Indians on < 3 year visas don’t have to contribute to social security which is a big win. The US has been scamming foreign workers on this for ages…

One can ask for a refund of SS contributions if they return to India permanently, i.e. they give up their GC. If one becomes a citizen, then that is that. The money is in the US treasury for good.

This is why I never watch GBNews. The whole site is a Fascist enterprise. I am not sure when this was recorded , but the bloke mentions IK (who has been in jail for is it two years?) shaking Putin's hand.

It is a about thirty years out of date in attitude; Britain has some influence on Pak (perhaps a little) but none on India. Britain is no longer a power in the world and it is time Liddle (whoever he is) realises it.

A key financier of Reform party Zia Yusuf resigns.

Now I have no love lost for Reform and the grade A grifter Farage, but it’s fascinating how religion and mazhab was more important for Zia then anything else. The moment Reform MP proposed banning the burqa, Zia wanted out from a party that he founded….

Sad to see Farage getting free money.

GB News is a basically the broadcast version of the Daily Mail.
People generally are fed up of being indoctrinated and lied to by the MSM. The bbc is a joke when it comes to objective reporting, it has a clear agenda and is part of the Foreign Office. Totally left wing and pro-islam.
Sky & CNN, well you just have to look at their advertisers to see why they follow the particular reporting line they do.
Nature doesn't like a vacuum, GB News fills a space.
If you just go to YouTube and search for GB News + India you will just see the depth of their ignorance. The empire is gone, successive govts have squandered the nations wealth on pointless wars. So they can't accept this.
They need others to blame. UK is poor and India rising because we give aid to India, not that India has done this herself, it is AID.
Britain/the West has failed to defeat Russia = India's fault, they buy oil from them.
The islamic pop in the UK/West is rampaging, they can't confront them and stop importing them, so it is "Hindu fascism".
Yes we killed lot's of moslems in Iraq, because of lies about WMD, but we can't admit it, let's talk about innocent moslems being killed in Godhra and other places by evil India.
They all claim to know what Modhi/Indian govt is thinking, but never sit down and interview Indian diplomats who can give their opinions. In short they are good at talking about people, not To people.

It just shows the delusional mindset of these people. I actually like Rod Liddle, he does call out the islamists.
But in what fantasy world do the think they could bully India?
The could do it to pak, they are bankrupt beggers.

Thanks for this insightful and informative post for people outside UK.

Lots of Brutish folks on SM keep saying "3rd world" this and "3rd world" that but don't realize that UK has become a 3rd world itself and what they call 3rd world has more money today. Their ancestors made their colonies into 3rd world (usually it is used as synonym for poor) countries.

3rd night of violence against immigrants in Northern Ireland. Frankly this has become a common occurrence lately and follows a set pattern. In this case it was a couple of Romanians that were accused of r&ping someone. Mobs routinely are gathered on FB and run amok. A lot is never reported.

On another note, BBC claims to have done some investigative work in Moosewala killing:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c87j5v4xjxqo

In reality they have just managed to get an interview with Goldy Brar on phone and presented his side of the story, no great investigation done. Resident uncle Tom Soutik Biswas is only too happy to participate in an article that indirectly promotes Khalistan adjacent culture and predictably highlights the bad in India…

F35 at this particular city..something smells very fishy. The city is home to one of the command centres of India’s military and home to some avionics research.

A spying mission ? Gone too far ?
Related, from a few days ago:
https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/indian- ... ian-ocean/

British and Indian warships have conducted joint maritime exercises in the North Arabian Sea, as the UK Carrier Strike Group continues its Indo-Pacific deployment.

HMS Prince of Wales, the Royal Navy’s flagship aircraft carrier, and frigate HMS Richmond took part in a two-day passage exercise on 9 and 10 June alongside Indian Navy submarine INS Tabar and P-8I maritime patrol aircraft.

The drill included anti-submarine warfare operations, tactical manoeuvres, cross-deck helicopter control, and officer exchanges between the two navies.

According to the Indian Navy, the exercise “underscores the deepening cooperation between the two navies and showcases shared commitment to maritime security and robust bilateral ties.”

The engagement comes as the UK Carrier Strike Group, led by HMS Prince of Wales, enters the Indo-Pacific phase of its eight-month Operation Highmast deployment. The task group had earlier passed through the Suez Canal and Red Sea after completing intensive drills with NATO allies in the Mediterranean.

The deployment marks the first time the 65,000-tonne aircraft carrier has operated in the Indian Ocean and beyond, with her embarked F-35B jets, Merlin helicopters and 4,500 personnel. She is accompanied by destroyer HMS Dauntless, frigates from the UK, Canada, Norway, and Spain, and a range of air and support elements.

The Indo-Pacific leg of the mission will involve further high-end exercises with regional partners to demonstrate Britain’s enduring commitment to Indo-Pacific security and international maritime norms.

New Delhi:
A British F-35B Lightning II fighter jet made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala late on Saturday night after running low on fuel while on a sortie over the Indian Ocean.

"Normal occurence of diversion by F-35. IAF fully aware and facilitated the aircraft for flight safety reasons. All assistance being given, and IAF is in coordination with all agencies," the Indian Air Force said in a statement.

The 5th-generation stealth fighter is part of the UK's HMS Prince of Wales Carrier Strike Group, which is currently operating in the Indo-Pacific and had recently completed joint maritime exercises with the Indian Navy.

Military aviation experts describe the incident as unusual but not unprecedented. The F-35B variant is specifically designed for short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL), allowing it to operate from aircraft carriers without catapult systems. It is not clear why the aircraft was unable to recover onto the Prince of Wales, although early indications suggest poor weather conditions around the carrier may have prevented a safe landing.
