Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
FATF issued a strong statement about Pahalgam, meanwhile Pakistan claims victory at FATF.
But what I gather is that India’s main effort to push Pakistan on the FATF grey list will happen in a few months.

Journalist with 104K followers in X. Since this smuggling is below the table hard to get real picture. Can anyone add more information. I read somewhere that this will be a massive blow to Pakistan. If Iran war is over and if they complied with USA demand on nuclear weapons and oil sanction is lifted then there is no incentive for them to smuggle oil to Pakistan, is that correct?

What deal will Munir and Trump arrive at? Their lunch is closed door and no readout to the press afterwards.

Strong Iran means Pakistan will revert to “Khuda Hafiz” from “Allah Hafiz”.
Added: I think Munir will avoid talking if he can; if compelled to, he will make a Musharraf 2001 type speech arguing that preserving the only second nation based on the Kalima requires pragmatic measures like stabbing Iran in the back. It may eventually result in a lot of baskets of mangoes being gifted to the Failed Marshall by the pro-Iranian faction.

Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
TFT speculation:
But a pro-US Pakistan would make Afghanistan and Iran pivot more to China, maybe?Does this meeting mark a major strategic reset? For years, Pakistan’s alignment with China seemed unshakable, with CPEC symbolising an “all-weather friendship.” However, Asim Munir’s engagement with Trump challenges that narrative, surprising those who saw Pakistan as Beijing’s unwavering ally. As Pakistan’s first Field Marshal since Ayub Khan, Asim Munir brings a pragmatic military perspective, possibly aiming to counterbalance China’s growing influence as CPEC’s debt burdens weigh heavily. This does not signal an abandonment of China but rather a rebalancing—diversifying Pakistan’s strategic options. For the U.S., eager to curb China’s reach in South Asia, Pakistan offers a nuclear-armed partner with strategic proximity to Iran and Afghanistan. Asim Munir’s move suggests a calculated pivot, potentially heralding a reset in bilateral ties.
Pakistan’s outreach to the U.S. is also driven by economic necessity. The country faces serious economic challenges. Aid from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank is a lifeline, and U.S. backing is pivotal to securing it. In 2023, Pakistan narrowly avoided default with a $3 billion IMF bailout, contingent on tough reforms. Asim Munir likely sees Trump’s support as key to future packages, a point almost certainly on the meeting’s agenda. The U.S. could use this leverage to gain concessions on security or alignment, making Pakistan’s economic dependence a cornerstone of this potential reset.
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
TFT highlights the military to military dialog:
The head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael Erik Kurilla, began a new chapter with Pakistan after Asim Munir became Army Chief in November 2022. Since then, they have had four official meetings. Kurilla visited Pakistan from 14–16 December 2022, meeting Asim Munir at GHQ in Rawalpindi and visiting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to observe border security. On 24 July 2023, Kurilla returned to meet Asim Munir again. In December 2023, Asim Munir visited the U.S. for the first time as COAS. On 18 December, he met Kurilla at CENTCOM HQ in Tampa, Florida. Kurilla visited Pakistan again in May 2024 to observe the Inspired Union 2024 naval drills and review border security, though no official meeting with Asim Munir was recorded.
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Dawn:
When questioned about the meeting in an interaction with the media later, Trump said, “I was honoured to meet him (Field Marshal Munir) today.”
Asked whether the talks included the current Iran-Israel conflict, Trump said: “They (Pakistan) know Iran very well, better than most, and they’re not happy about anything. It’s not that they’re bad with Israel. They know them both, actually, but they know Iran better.
“He (Field Marshal Munir) agreed with me. The reason I had him here was that I wanted to thank him for not going into the war [with India]. And I want to thank PM [Narendra] Modi as well, who just left a few days ago. We’re working on a trade deal with India and Pakistan. These two very smart people decided not to keep going with a war that could have been a nuclear war. Pakistan and India are two big nuclear powers.”
...
Earlier, when questioned by reporters on the White House lawn about the diplomatic outcomes expected from the meeting with Field Marshal Munir, Trump remarked, “This man was extremely influential in stopping it (India-Pakistan fighting) from the Pakistan side.”

An explosion on the railway track near Jacobabad in Pakistan caused six coaches of the Jaffar Express to derail on Wednesday, once again raising serious questions about the safety of train travel through Balochistan.
The train was travelling from Peshawar to Quetta when the blast ripped through the tracks. According to police, the explosion created a three-foot-wide crater and destroyed nearly six feet of rail line, according to Samaa TV. The impact was so severe that the wheels of the derailed coaches were thrown off the track, bringing the train to an abrupt halt.

He pointed out that Pakistan’s total budget outlay is $62 billion, while India’s largest state, Uttar Pradesh, alone has a budget of $97 billion. “Our total revenue is $50 billion, while UP’s is $80 billion. Our tax revenue is $16 billion less than that of just one Indian state,” he emphasized, underscoring the massive economic disparity.

The bad conditions in Balochistan

https://slguardian.org/balochistan-the- ... usion/amp/
Secondly, according to the Economic Survey 2025, Balochistan’s educational infrastructure reveals catastrophic deficiencies:
79% of government schools lack electricity,
71% have no access to drinking water,
52% operate without boundary walls, and
51% lack toilet facilities.
These statistics position Balochistan as the most educationally deprived province in Pakistan, with conditions far worse than Punjab, where 100% of schools have drinking water and 99% have electricity.
The scale of educational exclusion is staggering. Over 2.8 million children in Balochistan are out of school—approximately 69% of school-aged children. This includes 78% of girls and 63% of boys, with rural female literacy rates as low as 2%. The province has over 7,000 single-room, single-teacher schools serving multiple grades—without basic facilities or security.

[LEAKED AUDIO – PENTAGON FILE #982-STRIKEPROXY]
A disturbing recording has surfaced from inside the Pentagon allegedly captured during a classified briefing with Pakistan Army Chief Gen. Asim Munir. The leaked audio, outlines a chilling strategy: launching large-scale, military-style covert attacks not against India, but against Iran and Afghanistan. Munir reportedly proposes destabilizing eastern Iran to fracture the Shia regime, and reigniting chaos in western Afghanistan to invite renewed foreign intervention. This isn’t defense planning, it’s mercenary betrayal, delivered straight to American ears. Why is a Sunni general offering up Muslim neighbors on a silver platter in Washington? Who sanctioned this regional blood bargain? As Kabul reels from decades of war and Tehran holds its fragile line, Rawalpindi’s silence grows suspicious. With each whisper from Munir, the myth of Muslim unity dies a little more. The Pentagon may not comment but the region must now choose: confront the betrayal, or fall victim to it."

Terroristan has shown quite repeatedly that there is no unity in the Islamic nations with its action. Note that many Islamic nations sided with India on Operation Sindoor. Furthermore, AssIam Manure gave a watch to Iran's top military liason officer to Khamenei and liason officer was taken out by the Israeli missile team using the beam emitted by the watch. Each Islamic nation is doing things which is in their best interests, which does not coincide with unity of Muslim nations.the myth of Muslim unity dies

Pakistan to nominate Trump for Peace Nobel over 'intervention' with India - ToI
In a move likely to stir diplomatic discussion across the region, *the Shehbaz Sharif-led Pakistan govt announced on Saturday that it will formally recommend US President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, citing his diplomatic intervention during the recent India-Pakistan military crisis*, reports Omer Farooq Khan.
In an official statement shared on X, the Pakistan govt credited Trump's "decisive intervention" and "pivotal leadership" with helping de-escalate a rapidly intensifying standoff between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.Islamabad said it responded with a calibrated military action - Operation Bunyanum Marsoos - described as a "measured" and "precise" strike intended to restore deterrence without targeting civilian areas.
Pakistan's govt claimed Trump engaged both Islamabad and New Delhi through high-level diplomacy at a moment of heightened regional volatility, securing a ceasefire that averted a wider conflagration. "President Trump demonstrated strategic foresight and statesmanship, preventing a broader conflict that could have had catastrophic consequences for the region," the statement read.
The govt also praised Trump for his "sincere" willingness to assist in resolving the Kashmir dispute - an issue Pakistan maintains is central to lasting peace in South Asia.
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Does the B2 bombing of the three Iranian nuclear sites overnight queer the pitch for TSP's support for Nobel Prize for Trump as the Great Satan has bombed a fellow Muslim state or is it all par for the course?
After all, TSP is the sole reason for what is happening in Iran today with its AQ Khan/Musharraf/Establishment network proliferating centrifuge tech directly and through its proxy NoKo.

Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
This business of Pak promoting itself as some super duper nuclear power is ridiculous nonsense, which India and Indians don't need to give it any importance anymore. And after Operation Sindoor any semblence of nuclear activity of Pak has been wiped back at least 20 yrs or more. The whole Pak nuclear angle is a charade of China and US in propping up their munna. Pak has no nuclear A-bomb, period. All it did was steal centrifuges from Urenco via AQ Khan and get some purified uranium not bomb grade. It used these centrifuges to proliferate to other wannabe nations using China and North Korea. Iran also fell for this con job by China and Pak. Later Iran realized the futility of such centrifuges (similar to China maal for Air Defense) and abandoned the pak centrifuges. Iran has much better grade of engineers/scientists/physicists than Pak.
After India did Pokran-2 in 1998 the munna was used by China and US to provide a deterrent to India's nuke. Pak has nothing in terms of scientists/physicists/engineers/technicians to put together a nuclear bomb, all it has is madrasa educated bumbs pretending all kinds of advanced stuff which never enters their brains. Prior to this the US was the initial creator of nuclear weapons. The Soviet Union managed via espionage to create their own nuclear weapons, with some variation from the original designs. Then US gave stuff to UK and France for their nuke program. The Chinese stole from the Soviet Union and got their nuke program going. India is the odd man out. They started a nuclear progam from Candu reactors of Canada as atoms for peace donation. Using this know how they went to more advanced stuff and conducted peaceful nuclear explosion in Pokran-1. With Pokran-2 advanced nuclear weapons including H-bomb was created. This puts India on a very independent path not relying on either US or Soviet designs for nuclear weapons. The rest like UK, France, China have some lineage from US and/or Soviet Union. Tis something that bugs these powers as to how advanced Indians became in a field exclusively theirs.
All that the munna Pak land does is it enriches Uranium and provides the uranium to US and China. It is the "dirty work" that munna does for these powers. The deterrent has not scared Indian leadership one bit since the intelligence gathered points to a massive bluff game engineered by US and China. This has been blown to smithereens in Operation Sindoor. No amount of nonsense articles posted by Pak/China/US/western media is going to convince India that Pak has a nuclear A-bomb (they simply don't have the wherewithal to comprehend such a thing, it is beyond their madrassa curriculum). Kaput, poof gone with Operation Sindoor like Nur Khan C&C building.

All of Pakistani media was about how Field Marshal Munir would mediate between Massa and Iran, end Israen-Iran conflict and how Pakistan can facilitate peace in middle east. This was 1 day ago
Seems our marshal was negotiating payment for Pakistan's services against a Ummah Brother.
I think he will get a Dominos Pizza franchise. Papa Johns franchise has already been given to Bajwa Jernail family.

There is speculation (and rumor) that the underground facilities were setup with NoKo's help, who were apparently experts in tunneling
We have plenty of Paki Noko connection, some Paki missiles are green painted Noko missiles, and there is the (in)famous AQ Khan connection between the two countries
Similarly some Iranian missiles are brown painted Noko missiles
The common Noko help makes them look similar?

I had read somewhere that, that nexus i.e., was blue print of bomb and possible centrifuge technique exchange for Missiles between NoKo and Pakistan
Probably during Benazir Bhutto PM time (correct me if I'm wrong)
Did not know NoKo was into tunneling business as well.
Anyways both Kairana and Fordow set up looks similar on the satellite maps (at least the access and entrance etc) hence queried it.

Noko is very mountanous, look at the topographic map. Apparently they have numerous tunnels for their arty, nuke and missile programs.

Then there is also those infamous tunnels under the DMZ for transporting troops into Soko.

There were news articles that they helped Hezbollah in their tunnel construction. IIRC Pakis were "inspired" by them to make tunnels under the border fencing.

As an aside, The veterans of Korean war who had participated in mountain warfare from China's side were used in 1962 China-India war in Aksai Chin/Ladakh/Tibet region.

'Pakistan Generals Are Unhappy With Munir'
NIKHIL LAKSHMAN, June 23, 2025
Syed Asim Munir must have been chuffed as he boarded the flight to Islamabad last week.
None of his immediate predecessors as army chief -- not Ashfaq Kayani, not Raheel Sharif, not Qamar Bajwa -- had been hosted at a private lunch by America's president. Ayub Khan (John F Kennedy), Zia ul Haq (Ronald Reagan) and Pervez Musharraf (George W Bush) had been entertained at the White House after they stepped down as army chief.
No serving Pakistan army chief had been accorded such a privilege of lunching with POTUS, and that was certainly acknowledgement that he -- the son of a maulvi, the alumnus of the Officers Training School and not the hallowed Pakistan military academy in Kakul where most of his corps commanders graduated -- was the real power in his country. Not Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister; certainly, not Asif Zardari, the president.
After being anointed field marshal -- the first serving Pakistan army chief to acquire 5 star epaulettes; Ayub Khan, the only other field marshal in Pakistan's history rose to that rank after he stepped down as army chief -- Trump's invitation was an unexpected bonus. So did he have anything to worry about, apart from the likelihood of Indian military aggression in the weeks to come?
"His corps commanders won't be happy with Munir's promotion," explains a life-long observer of Pakistan's army, the ISI and its politicians, speaking on condition of strict anonymity.
"Pakistan's army has got a streak of democracy. It is more democratic than the country. The corps commanders are important. The decisions taken by the corps commanders are by consensus. The army chief only implements them. Of course, once the decision is arrived at, you can do it any which way."
"There is a story that it (the field marshal's rank) was offered to Munir. He must have been flattered and accepted it. If Shehbaz gave it to him, it was in recognition that he had done a good job (in the recent conflict with India). Shehbaz is not a fool, but what about his corps commanders?"
"There is no rank of field marshal at the head of the army. A field marshal no longer commands troops. A field marshal only commands troops in war. Ayub Khan only became field marshal after Musa Khan took over as army chief."

Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Gautam, my view is that Shehbaz gave it to Asim Munir in order to save his own skin. The defeat was enormous. Munir wanted him to be saved because he was the schemer of the war. He threatened Shehbaz to generate a false narrative of great resistance by the Army, huge loss of Indian assets, India seeking truce etc.Shehbaz knew the writing on the wall if he refused. His brother suffered them and he did not want to end up in Adiala as a neighbour to IK. He willingly went along with the suggestion. The Corps Commanders could not be unhappy as they they have got their pay & perks raised for exemplary performance during those four days. Everyone would be happy.
