‘India lost one Rafale fighter jet due to…’: Dassault CEO rejects Pakistan's claim during Operation Sindoor
https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-ne ... 75371.html
08 July 2025
The head of French company Dassault Aviation, which manufactures Rafale aircraft, called Pakistan's claim of shooting down three Rafale jets "inaccurate and unfounded". French website Avion Chasse cited Trappier admitting that "the loss of one aircraft" occurred without enemy contact. He said the loss was in connection with a technical failure at a high altitude.

Meanwhile, India's defence secretary RK Singh on Monday told CNBC TV18 that it was incorrect to say Rafale jets were shot down by the Pakistani Air Force. "You have used the term Rafales in the plural, I can assure you that is absolutely not correct. Pakistan suffered losses many times over India in both human and material terms, and more than 100 terrorists," he told the news outlet.

Earlier in June, India’s defence attache to Indonesia and Navy Captain Shiv Kumar had said …. orders were only to target terror infrastructure in Islamabad.

Much sensationalism over this diarrheal discharge from this cretin. He is trying to go back to "kagaz dikhao" phase again.

Release of at least both Saeed and Azhar should be the unconditional per-requisites for any voluntary release of water by India. IWT should be diluted with Pakistan getting much less water and subject to annual approvals by the MHA (wrt terrorism) and MEA (wrt treatment of minorities).

China, Pakistan And A Proxy War Against India? What The Army Just Revealed

For the first time, a senior Indian Army officer has publicly detailed how China provided real-time intelligence to Pakistan during India's cross-border strikes. The Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Rahul Singh, revealed that China not only armed Pakistan, but also gave it satellite data and surveillance inputs during the operation, suggesting a far more active role than previously acknowledged. What does this mean for India’s military strategy going forward?

IDRW operates in two ways;

1) Plagiarizes others' articles and passes it off as its own

2) Makes up unbelievable stuff.

In the case of the PL-15E episode, it is the first one above.

Without digressing the topic, minor correction that is Advaitic concept of Maya not Vedic. Maya is understood differently in other vedantic schools especially of Vaishnaivaite origin.

Also, if I recall the reading is Maya is neither sat (existent) nor asat (non existent) hence something else indescribable (anirvachaniya) (from Ista Siddhi of Vimuktatmanam)

Rig Veda tenth Mandala (10:129) decribes maya:
नासदासीन्नो सदासीत्तदानीं नासीद्रजो नो व्योमा परो यत् ।
which is न असद आसीन्न न सद असीत् तदानीं ; तदानीं - at the time of pralay.

न असद आसीन्न न सद असीत् no non-existence and no existence
Maya is also termed अनिर्वचनीयम् Anirvichiniyam – something I see but there is no cause.

How to Take Back POJK, India's Plan for Skardu, Op Sindoor I Col Ajay Raina, Sanjay Dixit, Aadi

In this YT Ajay Raina, Aadi Achint and Sanjay Dixit discuss something which should be under serious consideration of the politicos of India. For Operation Sindoor V2.0 this should be on the table. The PoJK is not about Pak, tis about China since they need CPEC working and also Aksai Chin/Skaksgam valley are at stake. Skardu is an important strategic place wherein China has parked their J10C fleet and advanced equipment. Col Ajay Raina gives the Indian Army perspective. During ABV Kargill time, USA Sandy Berger forbade Indian airforce from crossing the Line of Control. Nowadays India can strike from stand off distances. The entire CPEC route is heavily militarized by the Chinese with oil depots, weapons stashes and more. India needs a multi-dimensional thrust with a good shower of brahmos on key assets. There is the outstanding threat by Pak on usage of tactical nuke weapons if India comes into PoJK.

Pakistan's New Map Incoming, Middle east New Countries, India's Plan I Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan, Aadi
July 5, 2025

With BLA and TTP at odds with Pak Army chaps, this YT explores the new map of Pak. Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan (retd) prof in IIT-Madras/chennai, shows possible redrawing. He also talks about redrawing BD. The area bordering brahmaputra and ganga with siliguri on top plus chittagong area guarantees proper security for India. There are many other maps showing various other lines, baluchistan and kurdestan happen to be bandied about long time ago. Rajiv uses Somalia which broke apart as the model for Pak. Afghanistan will benefit by adding more land to their nation. Baluchistan may gain some territory from Iran.

// the US currently is trying to push China out of many places with Iran and Pak on the watch list. Deep State wants to control flow of goods and services (IMEC is in their interest!).

Ajit Doval gives a speech at IIT-M on July 11, 2025.

Speaking at a high-level strategic event, National Security Advisor Ajith Doval lauded the precision, planning, and execution of India's recent counter-terror operation while slamming misinformation campaigns and false narratives propagated by adversaries. He made it clear that India’s sovereignty is non-negotiable and warned external players against underestimating the capabilities of the Indian intelligence and armed forces. India will act decisively, and no amount of international noise will deter its resolve.

One of the blitzkrieg that China engaged in against India is the media blitz. These entities are bought out by China in Western nations, Europe, even India and more. A trash YT would be published by them downing a rafale with doctored images and video game background/images and this YT would garner a few thousand views, the next day 20 million and by the end of the day 53 million. Kya backwas, so many bots running around and clicking. Google has becom a laughing stock in propogating such junk videos and the metrics are being gamed by crooks in China and Pak.

Lt. Gen Dushyant Singh has more in : youtube.com/watch?v=ah__-BFwffs
He also deciphers Ajit Doval's message to the world.

A couple of analyses from blogs:

1) Operation Sindoor: Two in One Front War.
https://www.defstrat.com/operation-sind ... front-war/
By Lt Gen A B Shivane, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd)

The winds of conflict that swept through South Asia during Operation Sindoor did more than retaliate against a terror strike in Pahalgam. They unmasked a deeper, more dangerous dynamic, one that’s been evolving across decades: the collusive, coordinated hostility of two nuclear-armed neighbours -Pakistan and China, directed squarely at India.

While India launched a precision, technology-driven strike against Pakistan’s terror infrastructure, the shadows of Chinese involvement loomed large. In reality, Operation Sindoor was not just a limited war with Pakistan. It was a two-in-one front war -Pakistan as the trigger, China as the enabler. In many ways, what Hezbollah is to Iran, Pakistan is to China.
2) Pakistan's Illusion of Strategic Depth

https://www.defstrat.com/pakistans-illu ... gic-depth/

For Pakistan, the idea of strategic depth is a myth at best and a dangerous delusion at worst. Its geography, once thought to offer room to manoeuvre, has become a constraint in the age of precision warfare. Its western flank is hostile, its southern region is rebellious, and its eastern front faces a far more capable adversary.

The recent Indo-Pakistan skirmish marked by Operation Sindoor and its aftermath, offered a number of tactical and political insights. One of the most crucial lessons largely overlooked in the media frenzy and political posturing, is the enduring problem of Pakistan’s lack of strategic depth. To the trained, strategic eye, this is not a new discovery. But in the context of evolving technologies, shifting regional alliances, and persistent internal unrest, this limitation has become more acute, more visible, and far more dangerous for Pakistan’s long-term stability and defence planning.

Let us understand strategic depth. In military terms, strategic depth refers to the distance between the front lines or potential battlefields and a country’s vital assets, its industrial centres, population hubs, and key military installations. Strategic depth provides breathing room. It allows a country to absorb an initial blow, regroup, and mount a counter-offensive. Large nations like Russia, China, and even India enjoy this advantage. Pakistan does not...

As usual it is the US point of view on things and they duck the buckwas about their own help given to Pak by way of F-16 and oh they forgot about C&C bunker built by GE which India took out ( and the precision hit ). All swept away. And the praise of B. Clinton of blue dress fame and his collusion with China on getting Pak to nuke status in 1998 equal-equal. Small details overlooked by Stanford blokes one with a severe Britshit accent. And once again the nuclear flashpoint, now apparently it is a 3 way clusterf?k of Pak(china maal)-India-China. Also note how china is let off the hook by these dudes, when it actively funded and provided real time help. He also claimed that the chinese version used by pak is export model and not a true test.. he he. China's maal did not work period. India jammed the crap out of rubbish stuff that china provides. I have a feeling if India right now were to take on China, they would get a sound thrashing from IAF, IN and IA and they would loose Tibet for good.

A big deal was made of S-400 which played a minor role in taking out a chinese missile by Pak. The major thing is the Air Defence of India which is all indigenous, smart Indian software (with buddhi) and worked like a charm in battle condition. BTW the S-400 was integrated into Indian Air Defence, so it worked under the command and control of Indian Defence System not the other way around. Compared to the boondoggle called Patriot missile defence system, the Indian one is way ahead.

The Lt./Maj Generals of India have some good points in this YT. We have to treat Pak/China as one, Pak the short termed tempered rat which needs to prove its relevance and China playing the long term strategic game, supporting whatever helps its agenda of being truly anti India. Pak has its rear on fire after Sindoor, but ignores the flame on its backside and is pushing for Cashmore as a single agenda item with India. China is looking pathetic with its two losses - Pak and Iran. Furthermore Emperor has zero trust with his generals and close associates. Based on the shaky basis with both the leaders of Pak and China, the possiblity of lashing out at India is rather high. Within India there is 0.5 front now threatening to be 1.0 front. And then there is the US and Western interests wanting to thwart India's ascendency in the world. Tariffs is another form of geo-economic military threats, crude oil prices and the trade with Russia is at stake. There is an inherent duality with Janus faced US - India has good relationship on one side and on the other US poses a threat. India is looking at bad choices all around. One silver lining is Russia and with it there is the RIC angle merely to take on others. This requires some Chanakya level thinking. Eurotards are in a strange situation with US spurning them and their fight in Ukraine against Russia is driving them towards economic ruin. The Euros require India in some sense since they are also against China.

India should be doubly cautious and prepare for the worst. China/Pak and now BD too are potential trouble makers. Let us not forget Turkey and even Iran. Collusion will come from any quarter. Make no mistake Pak will plan for act 2 and take a swipe at India in the near term using some tactically brilliant but overall flawed plan (it will be Cashmore once again). This is where India has to think again, since any military win will be spun by the Pakis as a win for themselves. India requires to be more pro active and break apart Pak, a quick severing of sections of Pak will deflate the Pak Army once and for all. Take back PoJK and free Baluchistan with Afghanistan's taliban help. At the same time severe BD, take out Chittagong and the Siliguri chicken neck. This is done simulatenously to tell the world that India means business and will not tolerate shadow boxing by China and others.

Following is blog by an overseas Chinese lady commentator Jennifer Zeng on the recent beating that Pak got.

https://www.jenniferzengblog.com/home/2 ... ic-fallout

1. The debris of a likely PL-15 air-to-air missile, which is of Chinese origin and was used by Pakistan during the attack on India.

2. May 8: India Knocks Out Chinese-Made Air Defenses and Radars in Lahore

The next day, India escalated its campaign by targeting Pakistan’s air defense network in Lahore. Using precision strikes, Indian forces destroyed Chinese-supplied systems, including HQ-16 air defense batteries and radar installations critical to Pakistan’s ability to monitor and counter aerial threats. The loss of these assets exposed gaping vulnerabilities in Pakistan’s military infrastructure, particularly its reliance on foreign technology. Residents of Lahore reported widespread panic as explosions lit up the sky, with air raid sirens unable to mask the chaos. This move ensured that Pakistan’s skies were left defenseless, paving the way for further Indian operations.

3. May 9: India Flattens 11 Pakistani Airbases with BrahMos Missiles

On the night of May 9, India delivered a devastating blow by flattening 11 Pakistani airbases using BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles. Among the targets was the Nur Khan airbase near Rawalpindi, a key facility close to Pakistan’s military headquarters and vital for air refueling operations. Other bases, such as Rafiqui in Shorkot and additional strategic sites, were also hit with a combination of BrahMos, HAMMER, and SCALP missiles launched from Rafale jets. The scale of the operation dwarfed the initial strikes, crippling Pakistan’s air force and leaving its military leadership stunned. The precision and firepower of India’s assault underscored the technological and strategic disparity between the two nations.

4. May 9: Pakistan’s Counterattack Fails Against Indian Air Defenses

That same night, Pakistan attempted a counteroffensive, launching air and ballistic missile attacks aimed at Indian military installations. However, India’s advanced air defense systems, including the S-400 Triumf and the Integrated Counter UAS Grid, decimated the assault. Pakistani drones, missiles, and fighter jets targeting bases in Awantipura, Pathankot, and Bhuj were intercepted or shot down, with only minor damage reported. Pakistan’s claims of hitting significant Indian assets, such as S-400 or BrahMos systems, were dismissed by India as propaganda. The failure of this counterattack left Pakistan’s military humiliated and its options dwindling.

5. May 9: Pakistan Launches 6 Ballistic Missiles at Delhi, All Intercepted

Frustrated by its inability to retaliate effectively, Pakistani generals escalated the conflict by ordering the launch of six ballistic missiles toward Delhi, India’s capital. This desperate move aimed to shift the tide but was thwarted when India’s S-400 air defense system successfully intercepted all six missiles mid-flight. The interception prevented a potential catastrophe and showcased India’s robust defensive capabilities. For Pakistan, the failed strike was a tipping point, drawing international attention and raising fears of further escalation as its military strategy unraveled.

6. India Strikes Sargodha Airbase, Spooking Pakistan and the U.S.

In a bold and decisive strike, India next targeted the heavily guarded Sargodha airbase, a linchpin of Pakistan’s military operations. Sargodha houses the Combat Commanders School and serves as a hub for nuclear-capable aircraft, with underground facilities nearby believed to store part of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. The strike, executed with pinpoint accuracy, demolished key infrastructure and sent shockwaves through Pakistan’s leadership. The proximity to nuclear assets alarmed both Pakistani officials and the United States, raising the specter of a nuclear response. This move underscored India’s willingness to hit Pakistan’s most sensitive targets, pushing the conflict to a critical juncture.

7. Diplomatic Panic: Pakistan Appeals to Rubio, Vance, and Saudi Arabia

The destruction of Sargodha, combined with earlier losses, left Pakistan’s military on the brink of collapse. Fearing annihilation or a nuclear miscalculation, Pakistani General Asim Munir reached out to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance, and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister for urgent intervention. These leaders, in turn, contacted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to broker a de-escalation. The diplomatic flurry reflected global concern over the conflict’s trajectory, with Pakistan’s pleas signaling its desperation to avoid further devastation.

8. May 10: Pakistan’s DGMO Requests Ceasefire, Seeks Face-Saving Exit

On May 10, Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) contacted his Indian counterpart to formally request a ceasefire. After four days of relentless losses, Pakistan’s military was in disarray, its airbases destroyed, and its defenses shattered. The DGMO’s call came with a plea for a “face-saving off-ramp”—a way to end the conflict without admitting total defeat. With mediation from the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and 36 other nations, a ceasefire was agreed upon, taking effect at 5:00 p.m. IST on May 10. Though the fighting stopped, punitive measures like trade suspensions remained, leaving Pakistan battered and humbled.

Conclusion: Pakistan’s Collapse and the Cost of Escalation

Pakistan’s defeat in the May 2025 conflict with India was a stark demonstration of military asymmetry and strategic miscalculation. India’s destruction of terror camps, air defenses, and key bases—coupled with its ability to neutralize Pakistan’s counterattacks—left Pakistan with no choice but to seek foreign help to stave off collapse. The intervention of the U.S. and Saudi Arabia secured a fragile ceasefire, but Pakistan emerged from the conflict with its military crippled and its pride wounded. The episode serves as a cautionary tale of the perils of escalation in a region defined by tension and nuclear risk, with Pakistan’s losses a testament to India’s overwhelming response. Well written. Agrees with my assessment that this was a vicious assault. With no holds barred.

I don’t know about the 36 countries that tried to persuade India to stop punishing Pakistan
