In late 80s or early 90s, He met to an American lady Rebecca Norman and both got married in 1996

. A persistent threat to development is that perennial disruptor of peace, terrorism. It is imperative that the world display neither tolerance nor accommodation to terrorist activities... Those who act against them on any front render a larger service to the international community as a whole. As we confront conflict, economic pressures and terrorism, the limitations of multilateralism and the United Nations are visible. The need for reforming multilateralism has never been greater. The international situation is volatile, both politically and economically. We, as members of G20, have a particular responsibility to strengthen its stability and give it a more positive direction. That is best done by undertaking dialogue and diplomacy, by firmly combating terrorism, and by appreciating the need for stronger energy and economic security.

About Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution
The 6th Schedule means that if the government wants to start any project in Ladakh, it would first need approval from local councils. In other words, even if the Army wants to build a road to LAC, it would require permission from locals.
this is what the BIF agent sonam wangchuk wants, to stall all army related development work in ladakh, to please his paymasters

Re: Modi 3.0 - Bharat
Except for the posturing that the state is attempting to act, this was always a non-starter of an idea. The entire eastern part of Bengaluru consists of around 50 erstwhile villages that have dramatically transformed into swanky IT parks and upscale residential complexes, yet remain connected by many shambolic roads first built under the Gram Sadak Yojana nearly 15 years ago.
Large-scale land acquisition for greenfield roads here would be next to impossible. The only viable solutions are tunnels or double-layered flyovers to support both vehicles and metro lines. Unfortunately, there is a troubling trend of portraying private vehicular infrastructure as the enemy of public transport. Worse, this allows city authorities to avoid pursuing both together. We could and should both
Re: Modi 3.0 - Bharat
ToI has published an archival piece on the Indus Waters Treaty. And it makes for infuriating reading.
Good form says speak kindly of the dead, but with ‘Panditji’ Nehru it’s hard not to feel contempt.
His woolly-headed idealism cost India dearly. In his characteristic delusion, not only signed away control of the Indus waters to Pakistan but even handed over ₹83 crore to fund their canals.
Nehru revealed not in statesmanship, but a dangerous naivete that has haunted India for six decades.
The only redeeming part was the scathing attack on the deal by many MPs who could see the dangers. It was slammed across the political spectrum as appeasement and betrayal. Even Congress MPs could see 'Panditji'’s foolishness.
Con MP H.C. Mathur thundered that Rajasthan had been “very badly let down,” while Iqbal Singh warned Punjab’s food production would suffer.
Another Com MP A.C. Guha exposed the asymmetry of the deal. 26 million Indian acres in the basin, only 19% had irrigation, yet India was left with just 20% of the waters.
The indictment from opposition was even more blistering. Praja Socialist leader Asoka Mehta branded it “a second Partition,” saying India had been “let down by those whom it had been accustomed to trust,” while Jan Sangh MP Vajpayee questioned why scarce national resources should be conceded merely for goodwill. In handing away rivers and crores,
Trivia- India's irrigation minister when the deal was finalised and 83 crores paid was Hafiz Mohammed Ibrahim

An ocean of energy opportunities opens up in the Andaman Sea!
An ocean of energy opportunities opens up in the Andaman Sea!
Very happy to report the occurrence of natural gas in Sri Vijayapuram 2 well at a distance of 9.20 NM (17 km) from the shoreline on the east coast of the Andaman Islands at a water depth of 295 meters and target depth of 2650 meters.
Initial production testing of the well in the range of 2212 – 2250 meters has established the presence of natural gas with intermittent flaring. The gas samples were brought by ship to Kakinada, were tested and found to be 87% methane.
The size of the gas pool and commercial viability of the discovery will get verified in the coming months but establishing the presence of hydrocarbons in the Andaman basin is a major step in confirming our long held belief that Andaman basin is rich in natural gas, in line with discoveries in the entire area from Myanmar in North to Indonesia in the south in this belt.
Under the deepwater mission announced by Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji on Independence Day, large number of deepwater exploration wells are planned in our offshore basins in order to find new discoveries and fully exploit our hydrocarbon reserves.
This occurrence of natural gas will help us in taking forward our exploration ambitions in coordination with global deepwater exploration experts like Petrobras, bp Shell ExxonMobil and will be a significant milestone in our journey through Amrit Kaal!
Full interaction of Sh Hardeep Singh Puri Ji at the World Hydrogen India Summit by SP Global !
Held an excellent interaction in a fireside chat on ‘Powering India’s Green Future with Hydrogen’ at World Hydrogen India, an inaugural conference on building India’s hydrogen economy under the farsighted and decisive leadership of PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji.
With the National Green Hydrogen Mission, under which we aim to produce 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2030, supported by strong policy frameworks and significant financial outlays India is among the fastest-moving nations in the global hydrogen landscape.
S&P Global Commodity Insights projects that by 2050, global hydrogen demand will grow at 3.5% annually, reaching 220 MMT per year, with 60% supplied by low-carbon sources.
India will play a key role in the hydrogen landscape. Our oil & gas PSUs have collectively announced plans to set up ~1 MT per annum of green hydrogen capacity by 2030. Our energy sector PSUs have already joined the hydrogen quest by floating tenders for 170KTPA capacity under ‘Build Own Operate’ model.
India has awarded 19 companies ~900,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of green hydrogen production capacity under its National Green Hydrogen Mission.
India is emerging as a cost champion of the hydrogen economy which is a strong signal for investors betting on India’s energy future. Green Hydrogen costs here are already Less than $4/kg—
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., HPCL & Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited bids at ~$3.7–3.8/kg (excluding GST).
India will ensure that hydrogen is not just a fuel of the future but a pillar of energy security, economic competitiveness, and environmental stewardship.

“We’ve Had an Accelerated Move into a Multipolar World” — Jaishankar at UNGA on India & Global South
The development paradigm has dramatically altered in this decade of the 21st century. The most remarkable progress on the SDG agenda has been witnessed in geographies and communities where businesses and public-private partnerships serve the bottom of the pyramid, create livelihoods, and do not burden the already stressed public finance of developing nations.
At the same time, the fatigue among rich countries around development finance and foreign aid has become more visible. These nations are now looking inward, with little appetite for funding and supporting those far away.
Finally, any assessment of persisting development challenges has become deeply implicated by technology and innovation. Together, they are changing the trade and connectivity landscapes, helping create access to markets for smaller businesses and shaping the growth agendas for all.
This panel will assess the importance of the development agenda within the broader foreign policy rubric in contemporary times. It will examine how the new tariff-based trade architecture will impact the growth aspirations of developing and emerging economies, and the arrangements that can buffer the deleterious consequences of exclusive national policies that have a complete disregard for the global commitment towards SDGs. It will ask how the development necessities of today can be best served by technology and innovation, and how creative plurilateral arrangements and visionary businesses, governments, and philanthropy can cater to the 7 billion in the Global South.
Speakers:
Juan Ramón de la Fuente, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Mexico
S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, India
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, DP World,United Arab Emirates
Leslie Vinjamuri, President and Chief Executive Officer, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, United States of America

uddu saar,
urdu papers carry all sorts of venomous nonsense
this is grist for their jihadi mills. It would have been translated and and published
one seriously doubts if angrezi papers have much circulation in the north / rural north, or even anywhere rural in India
All over the country, especially in rural and semi urban settings, it's always the regional papers that hold sway
the congi presstitute, and commie pasand media extends to all such areas
In urban areas, people who read, very rarely go and vote.
It is always the people who are given "quarter, biriyani packet, and 500 bucks (females get saris)" who throng voting booths

Also some of the people are stating that with this name it will not go global. Truth is that it need not have to. It's a communication app for Indians. it's not a social media app that has to have global access. Two different things. Even if India adopts it wholeheartedly , its 20 percent of world population. And not only that, it will have better acceptance in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and the like which has Tamil population. Names like Volkswagen, Samsung, Toyoto, Mitsubishi, Dell, HP. Dont know how many of the people can pronounce it or has no meaning but are global brands.

This explains the hostility against India, of the biden administration, the turdeau govt in kaneda and some white trash countries in europe like germany, and the scandinavian scum

Do you know there is a global alliance of 140 socialist parties?
It's name is - Progressive Alliance
Parties like Democrats (USA), Labor (UK), SDP (Germany), Workers Party (Brazil), Congress (India) etc are members of this alliance
They work jointly to help each other to get power and to target RW parties worldwide
George Soros and other Deep State members are behind this alliance
Absolutely, this is an important point to highlight.
Yes — the Progressive Alliance is indeed a global network that brings together socialist, social-democratic and progressive parties from around the world. Its stated goal is to strengthen cooperation on shared values like social justice, equality and inclusive development.
From the Democrats in the U.S. to Labour in the U.K., the SPD in Germany, the Workers’ Party in Brazil and the Congress Party in India, these parties do coordinate on strategy, campaigning techniques and policy ideas. This cross‑border cooperation helps them amplify their reach, build international solidarity and counter the growing influence of right‑wing forces globally.
Whatever one’s political stance, it’s undeniable that such a network is powerful and has the capacity to shape narratives, elections and policies in many countries at once — which is why it’s closely watched by everyone.

BUT HERE IS WHAT KERALA GOVT DOES NOT WANT US TO KNOW ABOUT THIS MAN MADE DISASTER
1) That it deliberately ignored early warning signals from agencies at the Centre given on 23rd,24th,25th,26th,.. right up to D-day
2) That despite the area being ecologically sensitive rampant illegal construction was allowed. Illegal resorts came up & state govt & MP allowed this
3) No lessons were learnt from earlier disasters where hundreds were killed…

Re: Modi 3.0 - Bharat
Vayu saar, my mom's best friend is kashmiri (pandit) and she does not consider Neverwho clan as Kashmiri Pandit. The term Nehru is not a pandit last name in Kashmiri. She believes the family are other and she claims islamic heritage for neverwho. Rahowler is certainly not, he pretends to be italian.

Vayutuvan ji,
Wow! one can hardly believe what one is seeing in your post
the mists are clearing and the evil that stalks the Sanatanis is becoming more explicit by the day
This creep is vehemently against the Indian civilization and all that this culture represents
the anti Hindu laws some of the amriki states have enacted, and yet others are attempting to enact, by camouflaging the true intent by using "caste" as the dominant narrative is because of this evil commie ideological clap trap
these are rolers who have co opted the ropers by allowing/encouraging illegal immigration of predominantly of military age jihadi males to over run and push demographic changes so that the "change" that these feral commies want happens faster
This needs to be put out there to expose the clear and present danger that he, his family, and his kind represent, and all of the others, in different geographies, who are working to bring about the downfall/enslavement of whole continents and cultures, with India specifically in their cross hairs
These forces are using colonial guilt to flood many western countries and bring about social upheaval, using these black immigrants.
The wars that the foolish amrikis have initiated in their muddled pursuit of geopolitical supremacy, the wars across the globe that have opened the amriki flood gates to immigration, legal and illegal, using the very same calculus of allowing cohorts of predominantly of military age jihadi males
The cheen have seen the dangers and just like all the ummah countries in the "gelf" they simply do not allow such trash into their own countries. The japanese were the same but now seem to have allowed in jihadis in great numbers and are paying the price by seeing their streets blocked by namazis doing their thing
The cheen, Indians and many the guys from the "gelf" form a good part of the applicants for legal immigration
ps
this topic needs more inputs, especially from the sharp minds on the forum, the more cosmopolitan intellects, with their long exposure to living and working in the social milieu, dominated by other cultures and communities.
It will help in crystalizing thoughts and exploring weaponized narratives to better understand the mess that has been wantonly created by the global commies and their perverse need to control the brainwashed masses
this is how democracy is gradually stifled, before it ultimately dies, because these are patterns one is not seeing or one refuses to see

After trailing early, UPPL (Himanta-backed) & BJP pull off a MASSIVE comeback — NDA set to control Bodoland
Final Tally (40/40):
BJP 12 + UPPL 9 = 21
BPF 19

BPF sweeps BTC polls, BJP reclaims council role via NDA realignment

The oath-taking ceremony is expected to be attended by governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, with CM Himanta Biswa Sarma likely to join. Mohilary, however, added that no formal discussion has taken place yet.Sources say Mohilary, who will head the 40-member house, is likely to accommodate at least two elected BJP members as executive members. Mohilary is expected to meet governor to stake claim to form the next administration.BJP, IPPL and GSP fought the election solo. While UPPL won seven seats, BJP itself managed just five. Congress and GSP drew nil.
With BPF back in control and BJP tactically repositioning itself within the council, the BTC results have redrawn Assam’s political map. As the state heads toward the 2026 assembly elections, BJP’s ability to manage alliances, recover ground, and unify its regional partners will be tested like never before

UN reforms, jab at West, exposes Pakistan: Jaishankar's unmissable speech at UNGA
“Neighbour that is an epicenter of terrorism”: EAM Jaishankar goes furious against Pakistan at UNGA. At the 80th session of UNGA, EAM Dr S Jaishankar says, "...Forces unleashed by history since the founding of the UN propelled this body forward. As decolonisation advanced, the world began to return to its natural diversity. The membership of the United Nations quadrupled and the organisation's role and remit grew significantly. In the era of globalisation, its agenda evolved even further. Development goals took centre stage even as climate change emerged as a shared priority. Trade acquired greater prominence while food and health access were recognised as essential to global well-being."
