To take away the fun and festive atmosphere of Hindu festivals is something that the ecosystem is trying to achieve for a long time. That's how they see it. None of the Abrahamic festivals have such fun and joy and energy associated with Hindu festivals like Diwali etc.

Attack on Chief Justice:
Insult of Chief Justice:
Has angered every Indian:
Has amused many Indians:
Reprehensible act:
Disrespectful act:
Dear Prime Minister,
(1) It was not an ‘attack’, but an ‘insult’. Even the BBC knows this: “throwing a shoe at someone in public is seen as an act of disrespect and humiliation in India and many other countries”. While I do not support or condone the act, calling an ‘insulting act’ an ‘attack’ is hardly appropriate. An attack is a violent act, intended to cause hurt or physical harm to somebody. This was a non-violent act intended to insult the Chief Justice.
(2) You do not speak for every Indian, so please stop pretending to. Statements like “has angered every Indian” are meaningless. Going by reactions on social media, many Indians are amused that finally, the men used to hearing ‘My Lord’ and ‘Your Honour’ are finally being made to realise that they are accountable humans and not divine arbiters of justice. They are not above criticism and insult. As for me, I am neither angry nor amused. I am indifferent as to me, the incident is as insignificant as the 2009 incident of the journalist Jarnail Singh hurling a shoe at Home Minister P Chidambaram in a press conference.
(3) Again, the act was disrespectful, but not reprehensible. The Chief Justice openly mocked the deities of the majority community which was unnecessary, unbecoming, inappropriate, and disrespectful. Had anybody he similarly mocked the deity of the largest minority, something really reprehensible might have happened by now and the very same liberals who are rallying behind him would have been calling for his impeachment.
Why are you kowtowing to the judiciary, the most inefficient branch of the Government of India today with a pendency of more than 5.3 crore cases? You should have spoken with the Chief Justice when he made the unwelcome remarks about Hindu deities and asked him to be more careful in the future. Remember, it is the voters of the country and not the judges of the judiciary who elected you. Please get your priorities right.

PM Modi Demands Answers from Congress on Who Stopped Retaliation After 26/11 Attacks
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase 1 of the Navi Mumbai International Airport on 8th October 2025, calling it a major milestone in India’s aviation growth. During the event, he criticised the Congress party for showing weakness after the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, saying the government at that time failed to act against Pakistan due to pressure from another country.
PM Modi referred to recent comments made by the former Home Minister, who admitted that the government had decided not to retaliate after the 26/11 attacks because of international pressure. It was revealed that the then US Secretary of State had urged India not to respond militarily, even though the idea of retribution was considered. Modi said that the country has the right to know who made the final decision to hold back the armed forces. He added that Congress’s weakness had encouraged terrorists and caused India to lose many innocent lives.

Whereas #𝗖𝗝𝗜 #तृतीय_श्रेणी has passed 𝗕𝗔, 𝗟𝗟𝗕.
He himself said in a speech that “he didn’t even go to college, would have gone to college only half a dozen times in the final year before the exams.”
Some people were counting Baba Saheb's #डिग्री,
were giving knowledge on the importance of #शिक्षा, so I thought I should mention this too.
-CJI Gavai: Buddhist Dalit
-Adv. Rakesh Kishore: Hindu Dalit
How is this casteist? The entire ecosystem portrayed it as an “attack on Dalits by upper-caste Hindus,” while the "attacker" himself was a Dalit.

xpost from other dhaga - About India - Leadership in Climate Control etc..
Some still say it’s all a hoax…
but science seems to think otherwise.
This place has a lot of Trump followers who still believe what he said at the UN — that “the climate crisis and carbon capture are a complete hoax.”
But then came todays news — and it’s hard to call it propaganda when it just earned a Nobel Prize.
On October 8, 2025, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry went to Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson, and Omar Yaghi for creating metal–organic frameworks (MOFs)
— those ultra-porous, molecular “cages” that can literally trap carbon dioxide and even pull water out of desert air.
And while some folks roll their eyes at “carbon capture,” India is quietly getting serious about it:
• A ₹38,900 crore national CCUS program is being readied, with major central funding. (Economic Times)
• Incentives of up to 100% of capital cost for new capture projects are on the table. (Reuters)
• Carbon Clean’s Global Innovation Centre just opened in Navi Mumbai — one of the world’s largest carbon-capture R&D hubs - with pilot plants and advanced laboratories..
• IISER Bhopal drilled India’s first CO₂ injection well into Deccan Traps basalt, to study underground mineral storage. (Times of India)
• Indian scientists are now linking up with UK carbon-storage researchers to adapt global best practices. (British Geological Survey)
MOFs, with their vast surface area and tunable chemistry, are front-runners for next-generation CO₂ capture. The Nobel isn’t just a medal — it’s a reminder that cutting-edge chemistry is already reshaping how India (and other nations) plan to balance energy security and climate responsibility.
So, for those who think it’s all a “hoax” — the world’s top scientists, this brf oldie, and now the Nobel Committee, seem to disagree..
