Washington Post recently ran an entire propaganda piece claiming LIC was forced to invest in Adani painting India’s biggest insurer as a victim of politics.
Today, LIC posted a record ₹10,054 crore profit in just one quarter, up 32% YoY, driven by the same investments. Meanwhile, Washington Post bleeds $77 million in losses a year.
Turns out, the only one making bad investments here is WaPO.

Today, Saturday, 08/11/25, after 07:00 pm, the marriage party celebration of Krishnanagar MP Mahua Moitra and Pinaki Mishra, will be held at the Karimpur Regulate Market Football Ground.
The entire ground has been wrapped with pandals and lighting at a cost of crores, Very good. Everyone has the right to rejoice.
However, for the past few years, the ground authorities have not given permission for any religious events such as Hindu kirtan ceremonies, Baul fairs, etc. in this ground. Why?
The catering team has arrived from Berhampur in two buses. More than 8,000 people have been invited. The Karimpur New Bus Stand will be closed by the administration from 3 pm today for the arrival of VIPs. Karimpur will practically come to a standstill today.
How can the administration provide a field that is not allowed to be used for public purposes for the wedding of an MP? Why is bus service being disrupted for the wedding of an MP?
