Simple, almost everything about Trump is about money. Someone who has a lot to lose from the release of the Epstein files has paid Trump to oppose the release.
More money than being the commander commission-in-chief of the USA?
I suppose after he became the president he saw there is no real risk of being impeached
Epstein files bill will head to Trump's desk after approval by House and Senate
By Caitlin Yilek
Updated on: November 18, 2025 / 7:43 PM EST / CBS News
The Senate approved a House-passed bill that would require the Justice Department to release files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, effectively sending it to President Trump's desk as soon as it's formally transmitted from the House to the Senate on Wednesday.
Mr. Trump said earlier this week he intends to sign the bill.
The bill, known as the Epstein Files Transparency Act, would compel the Justice Department to publicly release files related to Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell within 30 days of it being signed into law, with some exceptions for survivors' personal information and other sensitive material.
Mr. Trump dropped his opposition to the bill earlier this week, opening the door for House Republicans to vote for its passage after months of stalling. It passed the House 427-1, and moved through the Senate unanimously. Despite their ultimate support, many GOP lawmakers denounced the vote as a stunt, arguing Democrats were seeking the documents to attack the president.
The vote was the product of a lengthy effort to force the issue in the House, with four Republicans joining all Democrats last week to sign a petition to bring the matter to the floor. House Speaker Mike Johnson opposed the effort but ultimately supported final passage.
BREAKING: Christian protestors are being SURROUNDED by Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan, who are screaming “ALLAHU AKBAR”
We NEVER should’ve allowed it to get to this point.
Knowing who nick sortor is, I'm certain that he instigated this drama and is crying wolf now. I hope both these demographics go at each others throats.

Today, I designated the Muslim Brotherhood and Council on American-Islamic Relations as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organizations.
This bans them from buying or acquiring land in Texas and authorizes the Attorney General to sue to shut them down.
The real cause of US aggression against Venezuela is a 20 year $1 billion joint development programme with China to restore Venezuelan oil exports to 60,000 barrels per day.
Chevron would not profit as before.
Meanwhile US oil production has plateaued. Active rigs are just one-third of the rig count a decade ago.
Oil, gold reserves, lithium, rare earths. So much wealth to steal and so close to US refineries.
Trump forced to sign Trump Signs Explosive Bill Unlocking Hidden Epstein Documents | APT United States President Donald Trump has signed a bill compelling the Justice Department to release all files, communications, and remaining records tied to Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days. The move, which Trump had resisted for months, sets off a high-stakes countdown that could expose thousands of unreleased pages linked to the late financier’s criminal network, his political associations, and the federal investigation into his 2019 death in custody. The legislation bars officials from withholding documents over political sensitivity, positioning the upcoming disclosure as one of the most anticipated and volatile releases in recent U.S. political history.

Trump defends Saudi prince Mohammed bin Salman over murder of Jamal Khashoggi, says he “knew nothing” about it despite US intel report blaming Saudi
The Democratic media that I monitor has not raised the issue of the Texas Governor designating the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR as terrorist organizations, which I find strange.

> about the Zohran Scumdani phenomenon in the Democratic Party and what it means for Hindus.
> about how left-wing "progressive" Indian Americans want to have their cake and eat it too.
1) As we saw with the recent CNN article, they want to take ownership of confronting "anti-South Asian" hate that supposedly comes from the online right. Meanwhile, they claim that no anti-Hindu hate exists and that anyone who mentions the very idea of Hinduphobia must be a Hindutvavadi fascist.
2) More insidiously, they advance the argument that Hindu Americans are uniquely to blame for inviting 'anti-South Asian hate' by failing to suppress our Hindu identities in public life (imagine for one minute the same argument being made about Muslims with their hijabs, mosque loudspeakers, and road-clogging namaz).
3) They also accuse any Hindu Americans who do not subscribe to their viewpoint of harboring extra-national loyalty to "Modi's Hindu Nationalist India", thereby actively advancing the very same 'dual loyalty' trope used to target all immigrant communities including ours.
> how the IAMC (a Pakistani ISI project) has come together with "progressive" Church associations in New York State to put up a well-funded publicity tour of California whose entire purpose is to defame Hindutva by framing it alongside Zionism (which has been successfully denigrated by Islamist propaganda campaigns in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war) and Trump's America-first nationalism (which is a well-established punching bag in California in any case).

Seems Trump and Mamdani got along really well in their meeting in the White House. Must be they each recognized the master con man in the other.
the meetings are superficial., mamdani did his groundwork before meeting trump.. NY is trumps stomping ground remember ?
That's right. As a developer, the President's permits and property management standards are controlled by the local government led by the Mayor. Not to speak of minor snafu's like a parking ticket received while in NYC. At least this creates a necessity for both sides to be civil to each other.
AI summary:- Trump's ability to do business in NYC is controlled by the State and the Courts:
The Trump Organization's ability to obtain permits in NYC is significantly impacted by a 2023 court ruling that found the company guilty of fraud, resulting in the termination of some business licenses and a three-year ban on operating in New York. However, the organization still has some operational permits, and its ability to operate and manage properties depends on specific contracts and ongoing legal appeals. For example, while some contracts were canceled after the Jan 6th Capitol riot, a judge initially prevented the cancellation of the Bronx golf course contract. Separately, a June 2023 lawsuit was filed against the organization by New York State, and a judge ruled in February 2024 that Trump could not obtain a permit to operate in New York and was banned from running for certain businesses.
NY was, not is, Trump's stomping ground. And in 2019, Trump filed a "declaration of domicile" moving his permanent residence to Florida from NYC.
Further:
The removal of the Trump name from buildings in NYC began shortly after the 2016 presidential election, with the first major instances occurring in November 2016. This is when the name was removed from three apartment buildings on Riverside Boulevard, following a petition by residents. The name has been removed from other properties since, with the Trump name also being taken down from NYC ice rinks in 2019.
The first instance occurred at three residential apartment buildings in the Upper West Side complex known as "Trump Place," which were owned by the Chicago-based real estate company Equity Residential. Hundreds of residents signed a petition to remove the name due to the controversial nature of his presidential campaign.
Key removals in NYC:
November 2016: The name was physically removed from 140, 160, and 180 Riverside Boulevard (part of the Trump Place complex).
Late 2017: The Trump SoHo hotel rebranded and changed its name to The Dominick after the Trump Organization reached a deal with the hotel's owner.
October 2018: The name was removed from another condo building at 200 Riverside Boulevard after a vote by the owners and a judge's ruling that they could do so.
February 2019: The last two "Trump Place" buildings in that complex, at 120 and 220 Riverside Boulevard, also voted to remove the name.
October 2019: The Trump name was also removed from signage at the Wollman and Lasker ice-skating rinks in Central Park, which the Trump Organization operated under a city contract.

But it's not just because of the trade war with China.
Farmers told us it's because a handful of corporations have taken control of their markets to ensure they always win, and farmers barely break even.
