Simple, almost everything about Trump is about money. Someone who has a lot to lose from the release of the Epstein files has paid Trump to oppose the release.
More money than being the commander commission-in-chief of the USA?

I suppose after he became the president he saw there is no real risk of being impeached

Epstein files bill will head to Trump's desk after approval by House and Senate
By Caitlin Yilek
Updated on: November 18, 2025 / 7:43 PM EST / CBS News

https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/ep ... vote-2025/

What to know about the Epstein files bill:
  • The Senate approved a House-passed bill that would require the Justice Department to release files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, effectively sending it to President Trump's desk as soon as it's formally transmitted from the House to the Senate on Wednesday.
  • Mr. Trump said earlier this week he intends to sign the bill.
  • The bill, known as the Epstein Files Transparency Act, would compel the Justice Department to publicly release files related to Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell within 30 days of it being signed into law, with some exceptions for survivors' personal information and other sensitive material.
  • Mr. Trump dropped his opposition to the bill earlier this week, opening the door for House Republicans to vote for its passage after months of stalling. It passed the House 427-1, and moved through the Senate unanimously. Despite their ultimate support, many GOP lawmakers denounced the vote as a stunt, arguing Democrats were seeking the documents to attack the president.
  • The vote was the product of a lengthy effort to force the issue in the House, with four Republicans joining all Democrats last week to sign a petition to bring the matter to the floor. House Speaker Mike Johnson opposed the effort but ultimately supported final passage.

Today, I designated the Muslim Brotherhood and Council on American-Islamic Relations as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organizations.

This bans them from buying or acquiring land in Texas and authorizes the Attorney General to sue to shut them down.

The real cause of US aggression against Venezuela is a 20 year $1 billion joint development programme with China to restore Venezuelan oil exports to 60,000 barrels per day.

Chevron would not profit as before.

Meanwhile US oil production has plateaued. Active rigs are just one-third of the rig count a decade ago.

Oil, gold reserves, lithium, rare earths. So much wealth to steal and so close to US refineries.

If the Americans control the Venezuela oil reserves, they would be able to manipulate the oil price, that could affect india.

Trump forced to sign
Trump Signs Explosive Bill Unlocking Hidden Epstein Documents | APT
United States President Donald Trump has signed a bill compelling the Justice Department to release all files, communications, and remaining records tied to Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days. The move, which Trump had resisted for months, sets off a high-stakes countdown that could expose thousands of unreleased pages linked to the late financier’s criminal network, his political associations, and the federal investigation into his 2019 death in custody. The legislation bars officials from withholding documents over political sensitivity, positioning the upcoming disclosure as one of the most anticipated and volatile releases in recent U.S. political history.

The problem with this post is that NYC celebrates a World Hijab day every year.

Here is a clip from the 2024 celebration at NYPD HQ.
https://youtu.be/e2kmeZF46jk?si=9ihOj95MbjN05wCG

Second, the clip in the tweet is from at least 5 months ago, well before Mamdani was elected.

——
To be clear, I do not approve of Hijab Day.
But I do not approve of misleading “news” either.

I wish there is a rule for BRF that any Twitter news that is not about live combat must be corroborated before posting here.

I wish BRF is always a reliable source of information because of its members’ care.

More from the Hindu American Foundation:

> about the Zohran Scumdani phenomenon in the Democratic Party and what it means for Hindus.

> about how left-wing "progressive" Indian Americans want to have their cake and eat it too.

1) As we saw with the recent CNN article, they want to take ownership of confronting "anti-South Asian" hate that supposedly comes from the online right. Meanwhile, they claim that no anti-Hindu hate exists and that anyone who mentions the very idea of Hinduphobia must be a Hindutvavadi fascist.

2) More insidiously, they advance the argument that Hindu Americans are uniquely to blame for inviting 'anti-South Asian hate' by failing to suppress our Hindu identities in public life (imagine for one minute the same argument being made about Muslims with their hijabs, mosque loudspeakers, and road-clogging namaz).

3) They also accuse any Hindu Americans who do not subscribe to their viewpoint of harboring extra-national loyalty to "Modi's Hindu Nationalist India", thereby actively advancing the very same 'dual loyalty' trope used to target all immigrant communities including ours.

> how the IAMC (a Pakistani ISI project) has come together with "progressive" Church associations in New York State to put up a well-funded publicity tour of California whose entire purpose is to defame Hindutva by framing it alongside Zionism (which has been successfully denigrated by Islamist propaganda campaigns in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war) and Trump's America-first nationalism (which is a well-established punching bag in California in any case).

That's right. As a developer, the President's permits and property management standards are controlled by the local government led by the Mayor. Not to speak of minor snafu's like a parking ticket received while in NYC. At least this creates a necessity for both sides to be civil to each other.

AI summary:- Trump's ability to do business in NYC is controlled by the State and the Courts:
The Trump Organization's ability to obtain permits in NYC is significantly impacted by a 2023 court ruling that found the company guilty of fraud, resulting in the termination of some business licenses and a three-year ban on operating in New York. However, the organization still has some operational permits, and its ability to operate and manage properties depends on specific contracts and ongoing legal appeals. For example, while some contracts were canceled after the Jan 6th Capitol riot, a judge initially prevented the cancellation of the Bronx golf course contract. Separately, a June 2023 lawsuit was filed against the organization by New York State, and a judge ruled in February 2024 that Trump could not obtain a permit to operate in New York and was banned from running for certain businesses.
NY was, not is, Trump's stomping ground. And in 2019, Trump filed a "declaration of domicile" moving his permanent residence to Florida from NYC.

Further:
The removal of the Trump name from buildings in NYC began shortly after the 2016 presidential election, with the first major instances occurring in November 2016. This is when the name was removed from three apartment buildings on Riverside Boulevard, following a petition by residents. The name has been removed from other properties since, with the Trump name also being taken down from NYC ice rinks in 2019.

The first instance occurred at three residential apartment buildings in the Upper West Side complex known as "Trump Place," which were owned by the Chicago-based real estate company Equity Residential. Hundreds of residents signed a petition to remove the name due to the controversial nature of his presidential campaign.

Key removals in NYC:

November 2016: The name was physically removed from 140, 160, and 180 Riverside Boulevard (part of the Trump Place complex).

Late 2017: The Trump SoHo hotel rebranded and changed its name to The Dominick after the Trump Organization reached a deal with the hotel's owner.

October 2018: The name was removed from another condo building at 200 Riverside Boulevard after a vote by the owners and a judge's ruling that they could do so.

February 2019: The last two "Trump Place" buildings in that complex, at 120 and 220 Riverside Boulevard, also voted to remove the name.

October 2019: The Trump name was also removed from signage at the Wollman and Lasker ice-skating rinks in Central Park, which the Trump Organization operated under a city contract.

I joined Twitter in 2009. I really never posted. Didn’t know how it worked.

Then in late December, 2015, I was watching TV and saw Hillary Clinton speaking at some college and saying, “To every survivor of sexual assault, you have the right to be believed. We’re with you.” — Hillary

I could’ve believe it!! She really didn’t just say that…. Did she??? Come to find out, she was repeating a tweet she posted a-couple of months earlier. I wasn’t active on Twitter and never saw it.

I tried to tweet a reply but it wouldn’t post. I didn’t know there was a character limit.

So…. What do old folks do when they need help with social media??? Yep, I called my 11 yo grandson.

He walked me through the process not knowing what I planned to tweet.

On 1-06-16 …. I typed out my reply to Hillary….. Looked it over carefully and thought….. it’s truthful and says what I’ve been saying since the late 90’s.

I clicked “tweet” ……. and all hell broke loose. Within minutes my phone was ringing off the wall with voicemails from reporters.

About the 3rd or 4th call was from my son, an attorney. I picked it up and he said, “ Mom, what did you do?” I replied, “I have no idea.”

I didn’t. I had no idea the power of Twitter……that Twitter was instantly and worldwide. So began my X (twitter) life.

We've lost Minneapolis. 21% of its 430,000 residents are of Somali descent, with 80% of reported family ties proven fake by DNA tests.

Immigration and financial fraud are rampant in Somali communities, creating a parallel society following Somali laws and customs.

Based on their religion, Somali culture justifies acts against non-believers, such as stealing, robbing, raping, and killing, yet the civilized world protects them.

This group will likely remain loyal to their religion over America.

Governor Walz permits widespread fraud. In 2023, he squandered an $18 billion surplus, leading to a $6 billion deficit for 2028-29. $2 Billion paid to fraudsters!

Democrats try to suppress the media news about the Somalia fraud.

Reuters Fact Check says: Fact Check: Congresswoman Ilhan Omar didn’t say ‘all white men should be put in chains as slaves’
May 5, 2021
A fabricated quote attributed to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar about Islam is circulating online. Reuters found no evidence that Omar ever said this. The quote reads: “I am America’s hope and the president’s nightmare. I think all white men should be put in chains as slaves because they will never submit to Islam.”

Examples can be seen here and here .

The first part of the quote is accurate. Omar did say the quote “I am America’s hope and the president’s nightmare,” in an interview on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on July 13, 2017.

She can be heard saying these words at the 01:08 mark here .

Omar does not mention the second sentence about white men throughout the interview.

The post with the claim includes a photograph of Omar taken for the September 2017 issue of TIME magazine time.com/collection/firsts/ with text that reads: “Her own Twitter words”. She does not, however, say this quote in her interview with TIME magazine here .

It also does not exist on Omar’s Twitter pages twitter.com/IlhanMN and twitter.com/Ilhan , or in ProPublica’s “Politwoops” archive, which tracks deleted tweets by public officials here .

Omar’s representatives did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment.
Things are bad enough without resorting to fake news, and Trump quotes.

Trump says US will 'permanently pause' migration from 'third world countries'

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cdxweyy157go

Donald Trump has said he will "permanently pause migration" to the US from all "third world countries".

The US president wrote in a Truth Social post that the decision would "allow the US system to fully recover" from immigration policies that had eroded the "gains and living conditions" of many Americans. He did not provide details of his plan or name which countries might be affected.

Trump's comments come a day after an Afghan national was accused of shooting two members of the National Guard in Washington DC, one of whom has died.

This and other announcements after the attack represent a further toughening of Trump's stance towards immigration, which has long been one of his key issues.

Trump previously said Wednesday's shooting in Washington DC underlined a major national security threat and promised to take steps to remove any foreigner "from any country who does not belong here".

The same day, the US suspended processing all immigration requests from Afghans, saying the decision was made pending a review of "security and vetting protocols".

Then on Thursday, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services said it would re-examine green cards issued to individuals who immigrated to the US from 19 countries.

When asked by the BBC which countries were on the list, the agency pointed to a June proclamation by the White House that included Afghanistan, Cuba, Haiti, Iran, Somalia and Venezuela.

There were no further details about what the re-examination would look like.

What Economists Got Wrong on Tariffs
When US President Donald Trump rolled out global tariffs in April, economists braced for the worst. Since then, a lot has happened, but the sky has yet to fall. Were the experts wrong? Or is it too early to tell?

The seeming end of free trade has caused a frenetic scramble as nations and companies seek to soften the blow. Trump’s gamble on US magnetism appears to have yielded some wins, but whether they last remains to be seen. Is his strategy a way to protect America’s preeminent role in the world, or will it merely hasten its retreat?
