How such a compromised guy became the governor of RBI is right up there with currency plate sellout in terms of selling out national interests. It was a rare misstep by Modiji on keeping him around, albeit cant blame him really as he was quite new and unaware of the depth of snake infestation.
We Indians really need to get better at crowd management protocols. Time and again we manage to gather crowds either for profit or celebration or hubris (be it open spaces or clubs) with no clue as to what to do if things go wrong. Even in cases of well managed events like Kumbh Mela we do get the odd stampede. Clubs are built by bribing local inspectors with no thought for for safety, our temples being very old are now death traps as they were not built for the volume of people they see. Politician rallies are a show of strength rather than crowd control… no doubt we are seeing an increasing number of fatalities. Life is cheap in India, but doesn’t mean that we have to waste it..

a new president for the bjp was announced, to say it was quite unexpected would be a massive understatement, not many would have heard his name before
crucially though, he is 45, which is younger than all established national level leaders on stage today, though whether or not he can replace being referred to as the "youth leader" is a different matter

so the bjp is looking to groom a 2nd level of leadership now, who would eventuate couple of elections down the line, as the newer cms are also in the mid 50's and after shah, yogi, fadnavis, hbs, thakur and maybe annamalai
crucial times ahead, i do not know any leader younger than 40 who is being hyped for the future except for maybe harsh sanghavi from gujarat who is the current deputy cm and home minster of gj and was the national vp of the bjp yuva morcha in the past

That can be the casus belli for the second?third ? Movement of independence, to change representation from a past by post to proportionality so that the 20-30% votes or the total obtained are also counted towards allocating the the seats in the parliament and are included in the matters of governance
