This is where the Multilingual skills of leaders comes into picture. The more you have such leaders who can speak fluently in multiple Indian languages. Will destroy the narrative of this language vs that politics. If Narendra Modi can speak Tamil fluently, Stalin or other leaders don't' have a chance to be in power.

Modi ji inaugurates a new expressway

Delhi to Dehradun in 2.5 hours via a high-speed expressway
Apr 14, 2026

The Delhi–Dehradun Expressway is set to transform travel between the national capital and Uttarakhand, reducing journey time from nearly 6 hours to just about 2.5 hours. The 6-lane access-controlled expressway, built by the National Highways Authority of India, is designed to improve connectivity, boost tourism, and ease traffic congestion. The route passes through key regions of western Uttar Pradesh before reaching Dehradun, and includes advanced features like wildlife corridors, underpasses, and modern traffic management systems to ensure both speed and safety.

// btw i have lived in Dehradun, a great place on the foothills of himalayas. The journey from Delhi was a tedious bus drive. Great to see this expressway that cuts short the travel times.

India’s Parliament is set for its biggest overhaul in decades. Historic proposal via Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, 2026 to expand Lok Sabha from 543 to 850 seats (815 from States + 35 from Union Territories).

Designed to enable fair post-census delimitation and seamless rollout of one-third women’s reservation without cutting any existing constituencies.

On 5 May, once the BJP government is formed, we will track down every member of these syndicates and put them behind bars.

Received a call from my friend President Donald Trump. We reviewed the substantial progress achieved in our bilateral cooperation in various sectors. We are committed to further strengthening our Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership in all areas. We also discussed the situation in West Asia and stressed the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and secure.

From Constitution to Quantum:

Andhra Pradesh has become the first Indian state to commission indigenous quantum computers on its soil today.

AQRF enables the validation, benchmarking, and certification of quantum components under real operating conditions. This is a major step towards the indigenous manufacturing of quantum computers, strengthening India’s self-reliance in advanced technologies and contributing to AtmaNirbhar Bharat. It also enhances India’s capabilities under the National Quantum Mission envisioned by Modi Ji.

Why India’s Colombo Shipyard Deal Is a Big Geopolitical Signal in Indian Ocean

India has made a major strategic move in Sri Lanka by acquiring a controlling stake in Colombo Dockyard, marking its first-ever takeover of a foreign shipbuilding facility. Led by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, the deal gives India a 51 per cent stake in Sri Lanka’s largest and most established shipyard, located within the crucial Port of Colombo.

By investing in Colombo Dockyard, India is not only enhancing its strategic positioning but also improving supply chain efficiency and reducing dependence on foreign ship repair facilities. The agreement aligns with India’s Maritime Vision 2047, which aims to transform the country into a global maritime power. In today’s geopolitical landscape, control over maritime infrastructure is key, and India is steadily building long-term influence across the region.

// tis a good move to start owning infra in Sri Lanka and thus have leverage. Eventually India should offer to fold in Sri Lanka under India - no need for their army, airforce and navy. India can use their naval ports and airstrips. This kinda of deal should be extended to Nepal too. Much easier for these tiny nations to cope with disasters like the Iran war and the supply hazards.

Samrat Choudhary's appointment as the new Chief Minister of Bihar marks a pivotal shift in the state's political landscape.

With this change, Nitish Kumar, who has dominated Bihar's governance for nearly two decades, steps into the Rajya Sabha, signaling the end of an era at the state level.

Choudhary's rise to leadership brings fresh perspectives and a new governance style aimed at addressing the evolving needs of Bihar. As we update our map of India’s Chief Ministers, it’s clear that the leadership dynamic is shifting, reflecting the ongoing evolution of our democracy.

This transition is a powerful reminder that in politics, change is essential for progress. It ensures that governance adapts to a changing society, driving us forward into the future.

NATO, 5Eyes are not getting involved despite repeated whining by OM. The only other nation with a navy worth it's name, is directly accessible in the region is India. So its natural that OM would ask. But Iran is not tolling India, and this is not an era of war, so its also natural that India would refuse.

'Win, Or Become History': NSA Ajit Doval Warns, Says National Security As Collective Duty Of Indians
A stark warning from India’s National Security Advisor has put the spotlight on the real nature of modern warfare. Ajit Doval said the true objective of any war is to break the willpower of a nation, not just defeat it militarily. Speaking at a major convocation, he stressed that there is “no silver medal” in national security—either you win or you cease to matter. Drawing lessons from global conflicts, Doval highlighted how even powerful nations have failed when they misjudged the resolve of people. He emphasised that awareness, unity, and national morale are critical to survival. The message is clear: strength is not just about weapons or technology, but about the spirit of citizens. In a world of evolving threats, this perspective shifts the focus from battlefield dominance to psychological resilience and collective national strength.

India-South Korea Ties Deepen with Focus on Trade, Investment, and Maritime Cooperation
South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung is set to visit India next week, marking another important step in strengthening the Special Strategic Partnership between the two countries. The visit, with key engagements scheduled for April 20, is expected to focus on expanding cooperation across trade, investment, and shipbuilding.

The timing of the visit is significant, as bilateral ties between India and South Korea continue to gain momentum. Trade between the two nations reached $ 21.5 billion from January to October 2025, underscoring growing economic interdependence. South Korea also remains one of India's leading foreign investors, playing a crucial role in sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and technology.

This visit is likely to pave the way for new agreements and collaborations, particularly in maritime industries and industrial supply chains. As both countries seek to strengthen their presence in the Indo-Pacific and diversify economic partnerships, the engagement reflects a broader strategic alignment aimed at long-term growth and stability.

Bharat sets a new export record! 🇮🇳

A matter of great pride as India achieves record exports of $860 billion in FY 2025-26.

This milestone, achieved despite global headwinds, reflects the country's resilience and its growing strength in expanding its global trading footprint.

The 9 trade agreements concluded under the leadership of PM
@NarendraModi
ji are further accelerating this momentum, opening new markets and unlocking greater opportunities across sectors.

The Modi Government's sincere efforts to boost ease of doing business and create a business & investor-friendly environment will continue to power this growth, strengthening our journey towards a Viksit Bharat.
