Thanks for the translation.
Considering the close association that the TSPA had with the nurturing and training the jihadis through the last three decades, I like my explanation better: No honor left!

Another sign that a big TSPA sponsored attack in India is imminent
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that his Indian counterpart Chidambaram should arrest the culprits of the Samjhota Express and Rajiv Gandhi’s killers instead of blaming Pakistan of being incapable of coping with terrorists.
Talking to newsmen he said on Wednesday: “If we talk about the composite dialogue, they should not consider it our weakness at all.” Responding to a question, he said India threatens to attack Pakistan after every three months, adding, “We are a nuclear state and not so weak; rather, we know how to retaliate.
“I ask the Indian prime minister that if they have any information about more Mumbai-like attacks they should share it with Pakistan and we will look into it and would get back in 48 hours. But if India does not share anything then they would be responsible for any incident,” he said.

Private Pakistani delegation lands in Washington
Pakistani nuclear weapons are India-specific, namely they are an answer to India's nuclear arsenal. Anything like the deployment of Indian Ballistic Missile Defense systems or expansion of the Indian nuclear weapons program will destabilize the situation... The nuclear issue has to be dealt with regionally, with India taking the lead

Not only their nukes, but their life are India-specific too. Only reason pakistan exist is the hatred they have for us.

They are not even bothering to pretend to be responsible, sensible actors. By constant repetition they have fooled themselves into believing that their lunacy and viciousness is normal behavior. US Congress approves new restrictions on military aid
An earlier joint statement by the offices of the two senators said that they had successfully attached an amendment to the Department of Defence authorisation bill that passed the Senate ‘in order to help ensure that military assistance for Pakistan is actually being used for its purpose: to fight the Taliban and Al Qaeda’.
The fresh limits include efforts to track where US military hardware sent to Pakistan ends up, as well as a warning that US aid to Pakistan must not upset ‘the balance of power in the region’ —a reference to tensions with India.(too good to believe that Khan is concerned about Yindia)

US Congressman snubs PML-N senator
WASHINGTON: A situation was created here at the Capitol Hill on Tuesday afternoon when Republican Congressman from 10th District of Virginia Frank Wolf snubbed PML-N Senator Syed Zafar Ali Shah who had come here to express the party’s point of view over the Kerry-Lugar Bill.
“I know why are you here, if you don’t like the bill don’t take the money,” said an angry Frank Wolf when he saw Syed Zafar Ali Shah in his chamber. However, the PML-N senator did not lose his patience and tried to explain the situation but Frank Wolf was not in a mood to listen to any argument.
“It’s your ISI and government who were supporting the Taliban,” the Congressman kept on bashing Syed Zafar Ali Shah who during the first couple of minutes was confused by the abrupt and unexpected response by Wolf. However, in the later part of the conversation Shah fired back saying, “Don’t ask me anything about the ISI or the government. I represent the people of Pakistan. And in fact it was the US government which kept on supporting the ISI.”

It appears that the US may offer civilian nuclear deal to Pakistan as well.
While implying that the US-India nuclear deal was unique and ''we are not going to use it as a template in specifics,'' for other countries, Clinton said its broad outlines to offer (to other countries) peaceful nuclear energy while at the same time having safeguards and verification is something the administration is looking at closely. The goal here is to ensure that the fuel cycle that does not spin into non-peaceful purposes, she added.

A bright and early start to the boom and light show in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan I see.
I certainly cannot complain about the spectacle of the uniformed Jihadi’s of the Pakistan Army being put down by un-uniformed Jihadi’s given role of Pakistan’s Army in fomenting terrorism targeting India.
Is there any secondary source confirmation that a Brigadier was indeed put down ?

Joe Biden had a question. During a long Sunday meeting with President Obama and top national-security advisers on Sept. 13, the VP interjected, "Can I just clarify a factual point? How much will we spend this year on Afghanistan?" Someone provided the figure: $65 billion. "And how much will we spend on Pakistan?" Another figure was supplied: $2.25 billion. "Well, by my calculations that's a 30-to-1 ratio in favor of Afghanistan. So I have a question. Al Qaeda is almost all in Pakistan, and Pakistan has nuclear weapons. And yet for every dollar we're spending in Pakistan, we're spending $30 in Afghanistan. Does that make strategic sense?" The White House Situation Room fell silent. But the questions had their desired effect: those gathered began putting more thought into Pakistan as the key theater in the region.

I hope it does not lead to a misplaced enthusiasm to increase aid to Pakistan rather than spending more money to eliminate Al Qaeda/Taliban and securing nukes there. In the light of Ms. Clinton's hints at civilian nuclear deal with TSP, the above reference to 'desired effect' looks ominous for the security of India.Acharya wrote:http://www.newsweek.com/id/217090. . .Al Qaeda is almost all in Pakistan, and Pakistan has nuclear weapons. Today's Editorial in DT is instructive in understanding the basis for some of the discussions we have had here recently. It says
Let us leave the 'liberal outlook' part above which should have been made in jest. The Islamic International University of Islamabad is a Saudi-funded university and is wahhabi therefore. For the salafists, even wahhabism is retrograde. We can safely surmise therefore what kind of attitude that the graduates coming out of IIUI would hold against kufr Bharat. Those who have held exchanges of views with the Islamic University will remember that its students did not share the generally liberal outlook that characterises Pakistani society.{If Najam Sethi or whoever writes for him thinks that the rest of Pakistan holds liberal vworld views, woe be to India and the world} In this they are in tune with views held in most universities of Pakistan where religious parties have almost a permanent influence. {That was a legacy of Gen. Zia who banned all student organizations except the IJT, the militant student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami} In Pakistan’s education system, the madrassas and the universities are close in their worldview.

The Durand Line - Edit in DT
Really, that is not being clever. India erected the fence to protect itself from *Pakistani interference*. If it was meant to allay Pakistani fears, why did Pakistan violently object to the erection of the fence when it was being built and why did Pakistani forces try to destroy it ?But just as the Indian fencing hasn’t allayed Pakistani fears of Indian “interference”, the Pashtuns of Afghanistan have never ceased complaining of Pakistani interference.

Rishi, the AQAM (Al Qaeda and Allied Movements) are employing every tactic available to them. This is targetted killing based on insider information. The attack on GHQ was also largely an insider job. The Islamic University attack also wanted to eliminate a specific person there, apart from causing widespread damage and instilling fear. There have been targetted killings elsewhere also.Rishi wrote:Sounds like an inside hit job

All the arrested Hizb-ut-Tahrir members released by Court
Jihad is an Islamic duty and kufr need to be killed. These cannot be called 'hate'. The turnstile-policy of the TSP government is working well. The government arrests and the court releases. He said the literature recovered from the accused was not hate provoking or against national institutions. Upon this, the court granted bail to 28 members . .
