If corrupt chinese officials were selling weapons then tibetans, uighurs and huis would be the first to buy them and run their own liberation movements. Since that is not happening its only fair to assume that there is sanction from the highest authority in china for the weapons to change hands. Point to remember is china is a communist state were even the slightest hint of scheming to harm the interests of the party earns the person a death sentence and visit by organ harvesters. So its highly unlikely for a person in the chinese ordinance factory to sell weapons to terrorists in India without political orders.Stan_Savljevic wrote:NE ultras procuring arms from China

Though it is not yet ascertained whether any Chinese Government official is involved in selling of weapons to the militant groups, it is now an established fact that the weapons manufactured in the Government run ordnance factories are available with the militants of the North East region.

Thank you sir for depicting the real pains of manipur and the Meiteis. We are the only organized Hindu in Christian northeast. But Indian Hindus do not care for us. Delhi must do some positive step to give us fair deal. Under no circumstance we would allow dismemberment of Manipur.
Lajjaram Ganju Says:
Great article. Hopefully Congress government (Christian headed) would do something for HIndu Meiteis!
Charan Meena Says:
Very interesting. Is GOI doing anything to open the road blockage by the Nagas? If not they should send supply via Mizoram and by air. Under no circumsatnces Nagas should be appeased.

I am a businessman in Dimapur. Three of trucks are stopped near Piphema, Nagaland by armed soldiers of NSCN. They demad Rs. 4000 per truck for allowing them to go to manipur. Indian raj does not work in Nagaland. It is the NSCN raj. What is the meaning of having a government as per costitution of India? Why Delhi is pampering NSCN? Are they afraid of fighting with 3000 strong Muivah followers?

Your article gives the complete information about causes of “terrorism” in Manipur.
But I had to look at the comments section to see the word “Christian’.

You have partiality to the meiteis. We Nagas have lived like servants of the meiteis. Now we have our homeland. We want to join the other Naga brethren. Muvah is the diamond of Tangkhul nagas. We will declare Somdal as the second capital of greater Nagaland. We want meiteis to migrate out of the valley and we naga people shall build a Christian homeland in Manipur.
Jason Chakesang Says:
We have no quarrel with Meetris. We want greater Nagalim. Muivah will lead us. Our Christian state will have special status. If the Meeteis want to fight the Nagas welcome that.
Nungthei Shaiza Says:
Your comments about Muivah are deregatory. He is the new Phizo of the Naga nation. You cannot stop creation of Greater Nagaland. The Meeties would have live as vassals of the Nagas. Greater Nagaland will be victorious. Victory to Muivah-Isac and victory to Christ.

Nepali community targeted by violent protestors in Meghalaya
Shillong Times reports that Nepali community were targeted by violent protestors in various parts of Meghalaya when several Khasi community groups called for 12-hour bandh (general shut down) in protest against the May 14 killing of villagers at Langpih along Assam-Meghalaya border.
Meanwhile, the Khasi Students Union’s (KSU) central body gave support to the "quit notices" issued to the Nepali community by its various units in Khasi and Jaintia Hills Districts.
With a Puritan Nagaland on one side, Bangladesh nearby, and a Maoist-friendly, pro-EVM High Command sitting in New Delhi, the poor Manipuris are in serious trouble.I will fight for India, that’s my motherland. But not many in my village think so. They feel India doesn’t care for them. He showed me a news clipping from a south-based daily which made horrendous reading - it was about the death of a Manipuri woman due to starvation. I didn’t find it mentioned in any other newspaper or channel.
The correspondent of the newspaper Iboyaima Laithangbam had filed an Imphal-datelined report:
IMPHAL: Takhellambam Komberei (70), a diabetic, died of starvation and lack of Medicare owing to the ongoing protest by tribal students in Manipur. While going to her home at Jiribam from here on May 5, the bus in which she was travelling was stranded on Highway 53 as a result of economic blockade. She and other passengers managed to buy rice at an exorbitant price of Rs 200 a kg from the nearby village. But soon nothing was available in the village market and they started eating roots, herbs and green bananas found on the mountain slopes. The old woman then started trekking up, but collapsed and died by the roadside.( http://www.hindu.com/2010/05/13/stories ... 060900.htm)

Manipur faces a crisis that’s communal in its colour and anti-national in its import.
Insurgents, blatantly anti-Indian, control the social and political life. They work on unhindered communal hatred. In Kashmir, Hindus were driven out by Islamist jihadis and nothing happened? In Nagaland and Manipur it’s the Christian and jihadi insurgents stifling the Hindu masses and their voices. The real fight is to get maximum number of non-Christians either converted or annihilated. It’s as simple as that. It’s a foreign-aided political colonialism in the garb of religious fervor.
Manipur is on their target for its Vaishnav traditions. And how? The China-fixed insurgent group Peoples’ Liberation Army (PLA) has given notices to all non-Manipuri Hindus to leave the state by May 31. Its slogan is – unless they sever all ties with “Hindus, Hindi and Hindi speaking people’’ their target to have an independent Manipur can’t be achieved. The best protection for a non-Manipuri resident is to display Islamic half-skull cap, because none of the Muslims have ever been targeted or asked to leave, no matter which state they come from. Thousands of Bangladeshi infiltrators have entered Manipur, but these so-called puritan rebel terrorist groups, one of them an Islamic one Peoples’ United Liberation Front, having its headquarters in Hebron, Nagaland, with NSCN-IM have kept mum about them.
The entire north east is in the grip of an unprecedented wave of Christianization with the help of foreign money. Recently on May 5, a huge Jesus statue was unveiled in Arunachal Pradesh said to be the tallest in Asia, in a region where Christian population is less than 5%. But still Kohima can’t have a Gandhi statue as the NSCN opposes any Indian icons in their region. So is true about Manipur where under threats from insurgents, neither can the national anthem be sung in schools nor can it be published in school textbooks. Even Republic and Independence Day celebrations are held only in government offices under tight security and wrapped up in minimum possible time. No school or private institution is allowed to have a function on such occasions leave aside hoisting the tricolor. The government employees, traders and politicians have to pay a part of their income to insurgents as a routine manner. Even the government contract funds must be shared with them and almost 20% of each such contract is distributed in cash to various anti-national outfits. What a joke of governance: terror groups are sustained on state funds!
Surely, there is an answer to ‘why Manipur should remain in India’- why shouldn’t it? Manipur is quintessentially India and India is incomplete without its hoary Radha Krishna traditions, tribal richness and Meitei culture. But the inconvenient situation demands self-introspection as an Indian people and state.

NEW DELHI: One of the most wanted fugitives by India Paresh Barua , commander inchief of the banned United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) has been arrested by the Bangladesh authorities. AoA!!!![]()
The dreaded ULFA leader was apprehended by the Bangladeshi security agencies about 12 days ago when he was crossing over to Bangladesh via Myanmar border after visiting Chinese Yunnan province.
“We are expecting Bangladesh to hand him over to us soon once they finish interrogating him,” sources told Express. Barua’s arrest is being considered as the final nail in ULFA’s coffin as most of its top leadership have already been handed over to India by Bangladesh.
Investigators probing the acts of terror allegedly carried out by right-wing groups at Malegaon, Ajmer and Hyderabad are now looking for Swami Aseemanand and his accomplice.

Of B’deshi Attackers
The illegal Bangladeshi crowd settled in Assam and gradually fanning out to other areas of the Northeast is a migrant community of a different kind. They are not here driven by economic factors alone, as the pseudo-secularist would have us believe. The crux of the matter is that ‘‘poverty in Bangladesh’’ has been blended with a larger design — annexation of Assam and other suitable parts of the Northeast to Bangladesh for the making of a greater Islamic state. In other words, the poverty-stricken Bangladeshi enters Assam illegally, looking for means of livelihood that the lethargic Assamese society readily provides, and then becomes an instrument of a mobilization programme directed against the interest of the indigenous people of this region and its resources. The real design is about encroaching upon more and more areas in Assam, including national parks and xattra lands; about reducing the son of the soil into a minority in his very homeland; about persecuting or eliminating him eventually; and ultimately about grabbing political power towards realizing the grand Islamic goal. This is the truth. And the invasion now is not silent, but open. This is the reason why most areas in districts like Nagaon, Barpeta, Dhubri, Hailakandi, Goalpara and Karimganj have such a hostile Bangladeshi ambience about them that no non-Bangladeshi would dare venture in. And things have come to such a terrible pass that the ‘‘poor, helpless, resigned to fate’’ Bangladeshi — as some Bangladeshi intellectuals and Indian pseudo-secularists would describe him — has now the temerity to even attack security personnel if an effort is made to evict him from his illegal area of encroachment, which he now believes is his land, his living space. On Monday, forest staff, accompanied by police and other security personnel, evicted over 400 suspected Bangladeshis from the famed Orang National Park (ONP), but not before the encroachers went berserk and attacked the security personnel, which compelled the latter to fire several rounds in the air and wield baton. Monday’s was the second eviction drive in the ONP. The first one was conducted in the first week of May.
Is it not so ironical that five years down the line since the pro-Bangladeshi IM(DT) Act was scrapped by the Supreme Court, Bangladeshi nationals in Assam should only be more audacious, more criminal, more comfortable? The apex court abrogated the IM(DT) Act after branding it unconstitutional, and it was that very perverse, anti-national immigration regime that the Congress had imposed solely on the people of Assam in 1983 to sustain its ‘minorities’ vote bank, comprising chiefly illegal Bangladeshis! Such was the violence inflicted on the demographic profile of Assam by the anti-Assam, anti-India IM(DT) Act (which the Congress shamelessly defended in the Supreme Court despite the full knowledge of the damage done to Assam by the notorious parallel immigration law) that today illegal Bangladeshis are capable of attacking security forces too, let alone the unarmed indigenous person of Assam or any other Indian citizen settled in the State. And today Assam has a political party like the Badruddin Ajmal-led AIUDF that has set a goal of about 40 seats in the 126-member Assam Assembly in the next Assembly elections in the State on the strength of the same class of ‘minorities’ vote bank. What is being witnessed is a contest between the AIUDF and the Congress to shield the aliens and expand their vote banks; the son of the soil can go to hell. Is it surprising then that incidents like the ONP’s are reported far too often? One wonders whether the people of Assam have already accepted their fate like a meek and servile society. If they have not, where is the outcry against an elected government that has failed to ensure their security? Or have all of them bought lands in other States as a precautionary measure? The security of the entire northeastern region is at stake.
Here is a part of NH 53 in pristine condition courtesy The Sangai ExpressA large number of passenger buses and trucks on Wednesday left here for Jiribam bordering Assam, escorted by heavily armed Manipur Rifles troopers on Highway 53, where Naga tribal students have imposed an economic blocakade. While passengers are on their way to various States, the trucks are carrying essential commodities.
Several buses and trucks, which have been stranded at Jiribam for more than 40 days, will be brought here.
Some trucks and buses reached Imphal through Highway 150 via Mizoram. But the 700-km highway is in a bad condition.
The Gov. is under pressure to make the NH-53 and NH-39. But will not clear it without talking with the evangelical Naga separatists for which Centre’s interlocutor for the Naga peace process, R.S. Pandey, and officials from the Union home ministry including Union home secretary GK Pillai will have to "placate" Muivah. They will then report back to PC. He would want to defer it to the PM who would maintain silence waiting to concur with other members of the Cabinet Committee on Security and RG ji and SG ji as well who are busy in UP. All would like all parties to be happy including the section of the separatist Nagas who would want to follow Muivah who has already declared "Nagalim for Christ".Two military cargo planes have been airlifting life-saving drugs and other essential commodities. Rice has been brought from Guwahati for being sold at government controlled rates. The government was under pressure to make the 225-km Highway 53 operational.![]()
One of the reasons for the aura around him is possibly his claim to spirituality. A devout Christian, Muivah speaks of a separate ‘Nagalim for Christ’, explaining that his idea of a Naga state would not be theocratic but that it would follow Christian values.
The armed insurgents under his command, christened by him as the Naga Army, are said to be the most disciplined among insurgent groups. NSCN-IM, he admits, runs a parallel government in Nagaland and collects taxes from the people.

Now let us take a look at this PFLP that Sonia is supposedly linked with. PFLP stands for "Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine". The leader was Palestinian Christian called George Habash. But the most sinister aspect of Sonia Gandhi’s links is her connection with terrorists. I am still working on it, but she has had long connection with the Habash group of Palestinians [PFLP], and has funded Palestinian families that lost their kith and kin in a suicide bombing or hijacking episode. This fact, Rajiv Gandhi himself told me and was confirmed to me [the funding aspect] by Yassir Arafat when I met him in Tunis on October 17, 1990 at the request of Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv and I were good friends from 1978, but became very close friends after V.P. Singh had betrayed him in 1987. We met practically every day, mostly in the early hours from 1AM to 4AM, discussed, chatted and gossiped on every topic.

This town has become a hotbed of terrorist activity and whenever a blast occurs in any part of the country, the police immediately point a finger towards the coastal town.
The Mumbai rail blast, German Bakery blast near Pune and Bangalore blasts all had Bhatkal connections, suspect the police. With the arrest of one more suspected terrorist in Bajpe airport on Monday by the A T S police, the question being asked is just how many more terrorists are there in Bhatkal.
In the Mumbai rail blast when the name of Bhatkal’s Riaz Shabandri came to light, the Mumbai Anti Terrorist police squad swooped down on him and collected all the information regarding the activities of India Mujahiddeen. They found out that more than 12 people were active members of this terrorist organisation which was involved in blasts all over the country.
When the Pune German Bakery blast happened it was found that terrorist Ahmed Yaseen was a associate of Riaz Shabandri. Now, it is being said that the terrorist Abudl Samad whom the police arrested on Monday is also the accused in the German Bakery blast.
The other 10 to 12 members in the terrorist list are there on whom the police is keeping an hawk’s eye and they include Ahmed Siddique, Bapa Mohammad Hussain, Farhan, Hafeez Jailani, Mohammed Gurfan, Abdul Khadar, Sultan Iqbal, Syed Abdul, Majeed and Arif Mohateshyam. The names of these terrorists are no longer a secret and they have are all hiding in other countries, it is said.
If only Indian Mujahiddeen founder terrorist Riaz Bhatkal is arrested, it will not take much time to arrest other terrorists from Bhatkal. Along with this the stigma attached to Bhatkal will also go.
But investigators say they hope Samad's questioning will offer insights into the Indian Mujahideen's networks in the United Arab Emirates, from where he has just returned, and Pakistan.
Investigation sources say informants identified an individual filmed by the café's closed-circuit camera as Bawa. Bawa, along with key Indian Mujahideen commanders, Riyaz Ismail Shahbandri and his brother Iqbal Shahbandri, are thought by Indian intelligence to have conducted extensive recruitment and fund-raising operations among the Indian diaspora in the UAE.
Even as Union Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram offered his congratulations to police and the intelligence services for locating the “prime suspect” in February's bombing of a café in Pune, investigators have told The Hindu they remain unclear how — and even if — the Mangalore resident held by police on Monday was involved in the terrorist attack.
But Samad was produced before a Mumbai magistrate on charges unrelated to the February 13 bombing of the Germany Bakery in Pune, which killed 17 people. The ATS instead said it wanted to question him in connection with the recovery of small arms from Mumbai's Byculla area last year — weapons police suspect were intended to attack lawyers linked to the defence of suspects linked to a bombing campaign by the Hindutva terror group Abhinav Bharat.
Based on closed-circuit television images recorded by a camera placed over the cash counter at the Pune café, investigators identified one bomber as Samad's younger brother Mohammad Zarar Siddibapa — also known as ‘Yasin Bhatkal.' Fugitive from police ever since 2008, Zarar is wanted on charges of having supplied explosives and bomb components for attacks carried out nationwide by a jihadist network known as the Indian Mujahideen.
Zarar is believed to be a key lieutenant of top Indian Mujahideen commanders Riyaz Ismail Shahbandri and his brother Iqbal Shahbandri, both of whom — like him — hail from the small Mangalore-area town of Bhatkal.
The police issued a nationwide look-out notice to airports on March 25. India's Research and Analysis Wing later worked with Dubai authorities to locate Samad and secure his return.
Police sources in Mumbai say Samad is likely to be questioned for at least the next two days. “We're curious about his relationship with his brother,” one officer familiar with the investigation said, “and also about any contact he may have had with other Indian Mujahideen members in the United Arab Emirates.”

Why did he return?
Did Raa do the trick?
Did he sneak in to India taking advantage of mangalore crash?
Someone from Bhatkal died in the crash and he would have come to attend the funeral?
Whether he was sold by PK for judgment of PK SC on Hafij which came next day? PK would have known that after SC judgment India would be upset and had quid-pro-quo. Judgment had been postponed to 22nd May( the day UPA-II completed one year) and came on 25th, just a day after PM's Press Conf.
