Re: Technolgies useful for Indian problems

I posted a make in india wishlist when NaMo came to power in 2014 - I am not able to find it now

AC manufacuring was on that list - but here we are still dependent on imports

Imagine if 80% of Indian households have AC - it is a massive domestic industry requiring 50M compressors a year!

India must cut its addiction to gold - they simply cannot afford it - put a 100% import duty if needed with super strict enforcement!! That alone can save India CAD.

I got educated on why Governor is not inviting TVK in TN - post-poll alliance. If TVK had gone in as SLP - then Governor would have invited them to form govt. yes it is true - ADMK+DMK alliance is being discussed - all other parties with 1/2 seats were aligned with ADMK/DMK pre-election - only INC broke ranks with DMK. Otherwise - TN is in a stalemate at this point. BJP will support the govt - they have supported DMK before and ADMK is NDA. They have only...

This whole catapult based carriers might become obsolete pretty fast due to mainstreaming of VSTOL especially with drones. RR VSTOL module seems reusable across engines.

I dont think we should have LPG for home and work towards moving to all electric coupled with aggressive home based solar over next decade. IMO that is more sustainable, even cheaper, and furthers energy security!

LPG subsidy could be added to home solar subsidy if used for cooking!
