No part of agricultural activity falls under the union list. Agriculture in itself falls under state list. Agricultural trade and commerce falls in concurrent list. So that's what the legal challenge is about. But as I said, generally the central government has tried to consolidate it's power on it...

I haven't seen this viewpoint in other papers. But this is another self-goal, if true. It's suggesting one branch of government ( judiciary ) superior to the other ( legislature ). The farmers (of a few states) want to repeal the farm laws. The government does not want to, as they feel the laws goi...

There are other competitive disadvantages as well. The distance to ports makes it extremely unattractive to industry. There was a freight equalization act to take care of this. It ended in 1993. It is more a dislike of Modi ji and the reason is association with RSS. During the difficult years of 80's and 90's when Hindu population of Punjab was under pressure, RSS tried to arm/fight back separatism in Punjab. If we go by this logic, Congress should have been wiped out by now from Punjab. B...

the problem in 50 over matches is that the top 3 (and 4) get enough time to settle down and then score runs. Players who come after top 3/4 do not have such a luxury as they have to take risks to score runs fast. So will be difficult to find a perfect middle order batsman with a top order heavy team.
