How such a compromised guy became the governor of RBI is right up there with currency plate sellout in terms of selling out national interests. It was a rare misstep by Modiji on keeping him around, albeit cant blame him really as he was quite new and unaware of the depth of snake infestation.

In other positive news, DGCA sacked 4 employees that were responsible for monitoring IndiGo. I wonder if these employees had pointed out issues and were ignored and are scapegoats or were truly doing chai pani with IndiGo.

So on the Indigo affair:
IndiGo was asked to reply by 1800 hours - they didn’t and claimed that DGCA rules give them a period of 15 days for RCA, so that’s when they will file the response.
Meanwhile MoCA has cut IndiGo routes by 10%. No sign of fines so far.

AmberG, GPS spoofing impact on IT and Telco is going to be minimal compared to airlines and shipping. These servers use NTP which in turn allows for using multiple stratum 1 clocks, not all of which are GPS based. Stratum 1 clocks can also be peered so a clock reporting faulty time can be disregarded.
