Surinder ji The GoI went out of its way to protect the honour of the CM of Punjab, who happens to be a Sikh, and who happens to belong to the opposition party. Amarinder gave the BJP a drubbing in the Punjab polls not too long ago, and yet they upheld his honour vis-à-vis Trudeau. Those peddling Sik...

Re: Indian Military Helicopters

My guess is that Ka-226T will be in a new facility separate from all other HAL facilities. I recall there was talk of bringing in an Indian private sector partner in this project as a partner at a later stage, so HAL would probably not want to share any of their other locations for this venture. I am so glad to hear about SP-5 finally flying. Been waiting for a long time and getting worried. It shows that our processes for pre-flight testing and validation are quite robust, and detected the problems in time. Subsequent troubleshooting also took time, but finally they fixed the problem. In all likelihood it may come about as the only worthy single engined competition to F35. Let HAL fulfill IAF orders first please. Scandalous, the casual manner in which the MOD keeps on rejecting deals, time and again. No deal can be signed if the South Koreans want deviation from contract terms. Not possible in a democracy. The darned order process takes too long

Was hoping for at least the MCMV, C295, and the LPD orders to be placed in this calendar year.

And for the SP-5 to fly

Not going to happen. :(
