Looks like we are stuck with the Mig-29K for the Vikramaditya and the Vikrant.

Is the Mig-29K a totally hopeless case, or can we work with Russia in a concerted way, like we did for the SU-30MKI, to fix its issues?

From all news reports linked above, it appears that the IGLA-S is seriously deficient in meeting the IA's requirements.

Our procurement process is so convoluted, and protracted, that we are never able to procure the best quality/ price combination. :(

Do the Pakis have some advantage in the number/ training/ equipment of their snipers at present, which they are pressing so hard? I understand our Dragunov sniper rifles were bought quite some time ago. Is theer a gap currently that the Pakis are exploiting with these relentless sniper attacks?
