Re: Islamism & Islamophobia Abroad - News & Analysis (9-8-2014)

I believe this is slowly changing, Muslims are becoming sensitised to Indian sensibilities, the motivators are several. Increasing economic power of India, high military potential, demonstrated technological aptitude, now a right of center GI, overseas Indians developing political influence, converg...

The fact that the above is coming from a non-religious, educated, self-identified humanist, who reads The Guardian faithfully, should give Pakistanis pause. Imagine what the fundamentalist semi-literate Christian is thinking.

Re: Islamism & Islamophobia Abroad - News & Analysis (9-8-2014)

Muslims in the West or India never call for reforms in Pakistan to secure minority rights, they call for reforms in the west and India to secure minority privileges.

Indians and white Christians need to face this reality and demand reciprocity and accountability.

I wonder if the mullah was able to deliver the call upon Allah to smite the non-believers and assure the victory of Mohammadans, before the underemployed white dude ripped apart his flesh. O Allah! Bomb craters are actually highly dependent on several variables other than explosive payload. It also dependends on bomb design for penetration, have a look at figure 4. http://wwww.pillbox.org.uk/images/blog/2012/bomb_crater_notes.jpg From http://wwww.pillbox.org.uk/blog/216701/ Kakarat wrote: Wha...

Further it may not be just fragmentation effects of the bomb that kill, acceleration forces and effects on tissue, sound frequencies, vibration, heat, oxygen consumption and thus asphyxiation, toxic releases are some of the parameters I can think of immediately.

Re: MiG-21 Bison shoots down F-16 in Kashmir

Navjot Sidhu should think a little, perhaps this man caused Pakistan to decide not to prosecute war. If he did lock on to that F 16 and fire, he may have demonstrated what a formidable battle Pakistan was facing starting with the lowly MiG 21. Otherwise it would be Panjab that could have faced Paki...

The Paks may have done some reforestry of their own in the days the area was cordoned off. I believe it still is. A 2000 Ib bomb may make a 200 X 15 foot crater depending on soil conditions. A little earth moving and turf will make it look as good as new. They had several days of cloud cover to do t...
