The integration of Astra with the new Israeli Radar has failed in the first attempt. Software update and test again soon. If it fails again, Uttam need to be brought in for the first lot as well. 10+24 Tejas Mk1A & Astra Fail

The safety review board has to clear the missile software changes made by the Hyderabad-based Defence Research and Development Laboratory. After Astra is fired, everybody will be happy,” he said.
