Re: India-Canada, Mexico and South America: News and Discussion

Terry is a journalist who was there in India before, during and after Op. Blue Star. He was a young reporter (as he explained on a radio interview) and knew Parmar and talked on the radio about death-squads going out of The Golden Temple and "killing hundred of innocents". Unfortunately, t...

Re: Malegaon blasts and the limits of fake secularism

It is only a matter of time before some retd officer takes the law in his own hands and gives it back to the policeman. Great. And then the retired officer can also stand trial in a civilan court and face "civilian" justice (and some really vile lawyers). The incident like the one that ha...

I can personally attest to the fact that there are elements in the police, have a grudge against army officer/jawan. Especially when they are retired or are on vacation. I see no reason to be happy about this outcome. It has happened because defense preparedness is weak. The IAF needs at least 400 LCA immediately and the IA 1000 Arjuns. The IN needs at least 6 more Arihant class subs. One doesn't go to war because we have all the shiny weapons required. We go to wa...

Samirdw, You're first line seems like an oxymoron. I apologize for using that term. If India has agreed it is Chinese territory then how can we tell them what to do or not to do on their territory? By telling them categorically - no, nyet , nahi, wenda, beda, voddu etc to their road building. We bas...

China acts on the principles of "might is right" and of "possession is 9/10th of the law." China has economic might, and thanks to relentless snooping and reverse engineering, plenty of military might as well. And China has used it to claim and then to build on its claims... nob...
