Stupid Pakis are at it again. One of their so called eminent weapon/defence analyst posts a picture of wreckage of two missiles and claims that both them missiles are R-73s obtained from Abhi's MiG-21 and hence he could not have fired his missile...hence story of IAF downing TSPAF F-16 is false onle...

BThe D-29 program on the Fulcrums, has been a real breakthrough as has been Tarang validation on the MiG-27 Upg & now LCA. With the experience from these, we have a good base to take things forward on the rest of our fleet, including the Su-30s, DARIN-3 Jaguars and so forth. Mirage 2000's and R...

Actually, per the IA/IAF/IN press conf, PAF did breach our airspace briefly & also dropped munitions on or near IA battalion barracks. Luckily, the munitions did not explode or were not armed before dropping before scooting off and did not cause any damage.

AMRAAM/ARH missile launches can be detected by RWR...MANPADS can detect both IR & Radar guided missiles. They are more useful to detect passive missile launches like IR/IIR guided missile. Perhaps MKI were carrying Russian SAP-518 jamming pods on the wingtips which helped them defeat AMRAAM (pur...

I think per the IAF press statement, JF-17 planes were part of the package along with Mirage-3s & F-16s. I do think that PAF cleared up major identifiable parts of the F-16 as soon as it went down. Perhaps would have "sanitized" the area wrt information, which may include, confiscating...

So far only Mi-17 choppers have received indigenous MAWS. It seems like they are the first airborne platforms to have been tasked to get MAWS.
