Good now the naval Dhruv will be NLUH tender complaint. Two year waiting time to prove the modification. The tail boom folding would have reduced the folded height from 5.1m to less than 4m and folded length to 11.5m. Now not required to reduce complexity. The article says in 2009 further orders for...

Re: Indian Air Force News & Discussion - 15 Dec 2016

My personal choice is 36 more Rafale are ordered in 2022-26 time period and IAF goes for 216 MWF @,32/year in 2026-33 timeperiod in place of MRCA2.0.
But the IAF is basically eyeing for 150 nos Rafales as the silver bullet for 2 front war and only 6 sq MWF.

Re: MRCA (Many Rakshaks Choose Aircraft) Contest - Episode III

Money is not a problem . IAF if it wants 150 Rafales will get it. 12 Rafales per year for 10 years will cost $2b/year for a total of $20b. Further 16 Tejas/year will cost $1b/year. That's the IAF plan for $3b/year you will get 28 fighters for next 12-15 years. Growing Indian economy can easily affor...
